* Sheamus vs. Randy Orton is announced for later tonight.

* Backstage, Teddy Long tells Dolph Ziggler he’s been given the night off, in preparation for his World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Money in the Bank.

* Seth Rollins w/ Roman Reigns b. Jey Uso w/ Jimmy Uso

* The Wyatt Family is announced to appear later tonight.

* Chris Jericho b. Curtis Axel by countout. Axel gets angry and trashes the announce table while Paul Heyman tries to get him under control.

* Backstage, Sheamus says that he will win at Money in the Bank on Sunday, and he’ll defeat Randy Orton tonight.

* Teddy Long is in the ring for a contract signing for the Divas Championship. Layla, Natalya, Aksana, Alicia Fox & The Funkadactyls join him. AJ Lee comes to the ring, accompanied by Big E Langston. Kaitlyn comes out next. AJ & Kaitlyn talk some trash before signing the contract. AJ then reveals some text messages from Kaitlyn regarding Natalya & The Great Khali, which starts a brawl. Kaitlyn ends up slapping Big E and hitting AJ with a spear.

* Fandango b. Wade Barrett. Zeb Colter came to the announce table with Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger for this match. Barrett got distracted when Team Rhodes Scholars came out during the match, allowing Fandango to roll him up for the win. The MITB participants all start arguing with one another.

* The Wyatt Family showed a recap of what happened on Raw and cut a promo on their attack on Kane.

* Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara never happened, as Dolph Ziggler, disguised as Sin Cara, attacked Del Rio.

* Vickie Guerrero comes out to heavy boos. Teddy Long comes out quickly and orders security to escort her from the building. The crowd chants “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!” at her as she’s escorted out.

* Sheamus vs. Randy Orton ended when Daniel Bryan interfered, attacking Orton with a ladder. Christian comes out and joins in the brawl. The ladder is set up in the ring and Sheamus and Christian fight on it. Bryan knocks Christian off the ladder, and Orton hits an RKO on Bryan. Orton climbs the ladder and the show ends with Orton holding the Money in the Bank briefcase atop the ladder.

    What time does it start?

    • BrooksOglesby

The first match on Main Event is currently underway. Check back around 8:00, that’s usually when Smackdown starts.

  • Daniel

Interested to see if The Wyatts are on Smackdown tonight or if they keep it to just Raw to not overexpose them.

  • BrooksOglesby

The Money in the Bank briefcase is hanging over the ring, so we should be starting the show any second now.

    • michael foulds

      which one?

      • BrooksOglesby

        World Heavyweight Championship.

        • michael foulds

Oh good, they didn’t do nearly enough for that on Raw. Ambrose wasn’t even in the backstage segment!

        • Smart Mark

So does that mean that Randy grabbed the WHC Briefcase to end the show?

  • Mike

4 straight losses for Christian since returning on TV.

    • Chris

Which may well mean he’s going over for the case on Sunday.

      • Brandon van Reenen

        I was thinking the same…

        • Rishano

it’s 3 straight losses smackdown to randy raw to kane and this week to d bryan, but i am also thinking that wwe is fooling is with teasing that d bryan and orton are going to win and then let a guy like christian or sheamus win or at least i hope so

  • michael foulds

So that means Ziggler will come out and attack Del Rio at some point.

  • Smart Mark

Can they please let Christian get at least some momentum heading into MITB. He’s my pick to win it but WWE sure is doing a good job in changing my opinion.

    • Lazynutcracker

sorry bro, I like Christian but he has no chance winning.

      • Herman Tank

Bryan was on a horrible losing streak the year he won the MITB so who knows, maybe Christian will sneak out the winner…

  • jdl

Well, that’s two losses going into MitB, Christian is officially the odds on favorite if you believe in the lose on TV, win on PPV momentum theory. :P

    • Xavier

Could very well be the case. I’d like too see him win it

  • michael foulds

why isn’t Ambrose in these MITB segments?

  • Smart Mark

They should have another Champion vs Champion match sometime down the line and have the winners of both MITB matches come out and try cash in at the same time. Would be a nice little twist.
