WWE taped this week's WWE Smackdown tonight from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. Below are full results:

WWE Smackdown (Airing on SyFy):

* Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel opens the show with Ryback as his guest. Ryback talks about his recent change in attitude and how the fans don't respect him. Teddy Long comes out to announce that Ryback will face Chris Jericho later tonight. Ryback reacts by attacking Jericho.

* Kofi Kingston b. Cody Rhodes

* It is announced that Triple H & Brock Lesnar will have a face-to-face confrontation on next week's Raw.

* Backstage, Zeb Colter says that the next match is "Real American versus Affirmative Action."

* Jack Swagger vs. Big E Langston ended when Alberto Del Rio, who was on commentary for the match, threw a ladder into the ring. The ladder is used as a weapon as Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler join the brawl. Del Rio ends up standing tall, so he climbs the ladder and poses with the World Heavyweight Championship.

* Dean Ambrose vs. Daniel Bryan ended when The Shield and Kane interfered. Kofi Kingston ran out to aid Team Hell No in the resulting brawl.

* A taped segment airs in which Mark Henry shows off his strength by pulling two tractor trailers.

* Backstage, Randy Orton says he will send The Big Show a message at Extreme Rules.

* The Big Show b. Tensai. After the match, Big Show tried to hit Brodus Clay with a WMD, but Randy Orton ran out and hit an RKO on Big Show.

* Backstage, AJ makes fun of Kaitlyn for texting her secret admirer. Natalya interrupts, interested in finding out who the admirer is. The Great Khali puts on a fake mustache and Rey Mysterio mask in order to go "undercover" and find out the admirer's identity.

* Chris Jericho b. Ryback by disqualification when Ryback crotched Jericho on the turnbuckle post. Upset over his loss, Ryback grabbed Jericho and threw him over the announce table to end the show.

Hey everyone, how we doing? Tonight we have the return of The Highlight Reel with Ryback as Jericho’s guest. Any predictions on the segment? Maybe we’ll get a calm discussion that ends without any aggression whatsoever.

    • Smart Mark

LOL most likely we’ll get Ryback tearing up the place and even destroying the Jeritron.

    • Rayner Chee-bai

This SmackDown! pretty much disappoints me. Where in the hell is Teddy Long to announce the TAG TEAM MATCH, PLAYA!!!

  • BrooksOglesby

Adrian Neville (formerly PAC) defeated Curt Hawkins in the dark match. Definitely recommend checking the guy out on YouTube if you haven’t seen his work yet. His finisher will get him over immediately.

    • Iv seen him live used to live near him in newcastle awesome guy awesome wrestler http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=wwEF0nxJgDE&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DwwEF0nxJgDE

      • Danny_Boy

I’ve seen him wrestle too, he’s hardly awesome. You use that term loosely. He’s a very green inside the ring and reckless.

        • Seeing a 630 senton is awesome, seeing a cockscrew shooting star is awesome case closed

          • Danny_Boy

Seeing a poorly executed and sloppy 630 senton or cockscrew shooting star press that legit hurts other wrestlers isn’t awesome to see. Quit trolling little boy and stop being a douche. Case closed

          • Not trolling when im not picking a argument. I bet you think billy kidnans shooting star was reckless? Seth rollins pheonix splash is reckless?

  • Smart Mark

The thing i don’t like is that back in the day, both Raw and SD had about 4 to 6 main eventers on each show. For example, Raw: Jonh Cena, Edge, Randy Orton, Triple H, HBK. SD: Batista, King Booker, Rey Mysterio, Undertaker, Mr. Kennedy. But now is seems like the entire WWE only has CM Punk and John Cena to rely on as their main event guys. Even the WH Champion Dolph Ziggler is booked as nothing more that an upper mid-carder. And guys that should be main eventing like Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Antonio Cesaro are being comforted by the mid card.

    • BrooksOglesby

Like you said, there’s enough talent on the roster to make at least 4 to 6 main eventers on each show, but it’s a booking problem. Nobody seems to want to take risks on new stars (probably because of guys like Lesnar and Lashley leaving) so they push inconsistently or not at all, and give promising guys awful losing streak angles. I understand that wrestling isn’t as hot as it used to be, but with a roster as talented as the current one, there’s no excuse to not be building several new stars. I’m not super high on Ryback, but he’s a start, at least. Maybe with his success and the success of The Shield, as well as Triple H getting more power, we’ll see some new and improved booking.

  • Xavier

I have a feeling that Big E will end up being Kaitlyn’s secret admirer.

    • jazi_88

      Him better than Hornswoggle…!!!

    • Chris

Actually, I am guessing it’s the Bella twins playing their “bully” role again.

  • Has anyone noticed Cena is never on Smackdown?

    • Xavier

He was on Smackdoen a month ago and everyone on here complained that he was stealing airtime from younger talents and that he was being shoved down everyone’s throats

  • Adam “SwipeManMcNasty”

Should the Ryback be losing right now? It wouldnt really have hurt Jericho to lose, and it would have given the big man some momentum going forward, right? Even by DQ, I dont think he shouldve gone under.

And, Id like to see Ambrose as U.S. champ, and Rollins and Reigns as TTC.

    • Chris

So, him being “brutal” and leaving his opponent unable to get up, leading to a last man standing match, is going to HURT his momentum?

      • Adam “SwipeManMcNasty”

No, but I think a “brutal” win wouldve been better. And according to this, all he did was throw him over the announce table. How many times have we seen someone do that recently?

  • Where is the Spoilers for Saturday Morning Slam

  • Cubed56

Any word on who is responsible for zigglers concussion?

  • Moe

Although I’m not a fan of Cena or Ryback, I’m actually hoping and thinking Cena keeps the title. At least I have respect for Cena, and could lose it to a much better wrestler than Ryback.
