WNW Reader Reflects On Bringing His Owen Hart Sign To RAW's 15th Anniversary
WNW Reader Bill A. from Queens, New York sent the following:
I was the proud maker of the Owen Hart hall of fame sign on RAW's 15th Anniversary show. A lot of the wrestlers acknowledged the sign and gave me a show of approval. One of which was DH Smith after his match before Raw went on the air. He stopped before the top of the ramp read the sign pounded his heart then to me and walked back. I have to say I was really surprised how Mark Henry broke out of character there for those few minutes. He held that sign up like he was on a mission. That mission is to get someone who gave his life to the fans and to the business he loved. The fans love him to this day, as those in attendance that night so voicefully expressed when Mark Henry was waving the sign around. The wrestlers too love him to this day showed by the respect they were giving a fan with a sign that read, "OWEN HART BELONGS IN THE HALL OF FAME 2008". I think it's about time WWE finally gives Owen Hart and the entire Hart family the respect he deserves and induct him into the Hall of Fame.
