Despite officially advertising Dean Ambrose vs. Daniel Bryan for this week's Smackdown, the match didn't take place. Bryan opened the show and announced that he will face Randy Orton. He played up his match against Orton being stopped on this week's Monday Night Raw.
It certainly appears WWE is rolling the legit injury suffered by Bryan into the storyline and subsequently changed the Smackdown main event. As we reported earlier, Bryan was injured in the match on Monday night and the match was stopped with an alternative outcome.
