Spoiler Update On Jeff Hardy’s Future With TNA Wrestling

A segment was taped on Wednesday night that will air on the December 26, 2013 episode of Impact Wrestling where Jeff Hardy said he had wrestled his final match with TNA. We’ve received a lot of questions regarding the status of Hardy, however, he signed a contract extension with the company in February.

The deal, believed to be for two years, would run through February 2015. Now there is a possibility that the second year was an option year, as that’s typically how TNA’s contracts are structured. However, he’s at the very least, under contract with the company through next month.

Hardy’s situation is unlike that of AJ Styles, whose deal is indeed up after this year and an extension has not been reached. We have a spoiler update on the future of Styles at this link.

Please let him be free, and Sting. Then my vision of the WrestleMania supercard could happen. Hogan/Cena, Undertaker/Sting, Hardy/Rhodes, Goldberg/Lesnar 2 (this time getting the match we SHOULD HAVE before), Punk/Bryan, AJ/Nattie, so on and so forth…

I don’t see Hardy returning to WWE, he already has 2 wellness strikes against him and given his track record I don’t see the WWE taking a chance. As much as I would like to see AJ Styles in the WWE I don’t see that either, mostly because AJ decided a few years back it would be a good idea to criticize how WWE did things.

I think when he said AJ he meant AJ Lee..

      • Nostaljack

        AJ Styles vs. Natalya? LOL!!

His track record is pretty much identical to ortons so that statement is invalid.

you do understand orton has had the same strikes as jeff..

        • smark

wwe has a program where they can have the strikes erased now

          • Mathew Lisett

which was my point against ricks statement

Not sure why you’d want to see Hogan/Cena, just sounds like a bad idea.

Undertaker/Sting not sure I’d want to see it because it means one has to lose.. and it would probably be Sting..

While I agree I would not want to see both those matches now. I do see the fact they are both dream matches. Sting & Undertaker have been very loyal to their companies. While Hogan & Cena are the faces of a generation. Maybe 10 years ago. These would be cool too see, but not now.

We got Rock/Hogan 12 years ago. That passed a torch. Then we’ve had Rock/Cena the last two years. Passing a torch. It’ll be Cenas turn next time. But we, obviously, have no idea who the opponent will be in ten years time.

I love the way you WWE nerds say TNA sucks but would like WWE’s biggest card of the year to feature TNA stars all over 37! You lemmings are so predictable. Vince’s bitches

        • Jimmy

Which one of those stars became famous due to TNA?

  • Mathew Lisett

another gr8 part timer for wwe?

    • Eddie-Boy

I wouldn’t bet against it, Matt, given how immensely popular the “Charismatic Enigma” still is amongst the legions of W.W.E. fans worldwide. Whether or not Vince, Triple-H, and Stephanie will welcome him back into the company, however, remains to be seen; at least for now, anyway.

Speculation is going to be rife with Hardy and his status.
Personally I hope he signs a part time deal with WWE due to the fact that TNA will always suck no matter who they have under contract or who’s running things.
And with RVD most likely working again from Rumble to Extreme Rules having a Hardy vs RVD in some sort of crazy stipulation match during that time frame would be a lot of fun to watch.
