i’m guessing cesaro is a tweener not a face?

  • Bob’s Diner

Wow… Cesaro’s big push involves a feud with Jack Swagger! Talk about lifting him to new heights – he might even become Intercontinental Champion!!!

    • Xavier

From what Richard has reported this feud with Swagger won’t last long. I’m guessing he’ll likely be feed to Bryan around MITB

      • David F.

I hope Cesaro’s in ring style does not change now that he is with Heyman. If aint broke dont try to change it WWE. Its going to be tough for him to stay heel anyway the fans love him and want to cheer for him

        • Xavier

I honestly think pushing him as a heel is the best thing for Cesaro now. With Bryan, Cena and with the recent face turn of the Shield there realy wouldn’t be any room for a major push for him as a top babyface. Hopefully after Bryan finishes up with the Authority stuff they’ll put those two together in a feud

          • David F.

I just think at this point in Cesaro’s career the fans dont want to boo him because he is soo damn entertaining. I just dont buy him as heel anymore but I like him with Heyman more so than Axel and Ryback. Cmon Cena is basically heel to half of audience anyway.

          • Xavier

Cena is Cena, his situation is so unique from any wrestler past or present but Vince still pushes him as the top face and rather half the fans boo him or not that hasn’t changed

          • BigMike

But Cena does handle it well and gives the haters props for their opinion, then tells them to go to hell lol. He has done that onmore than one occasion. he says thankl you to his supporters then Suck It to the haters but cheer or boo all you want lol

          • Tom Lee

            Damn right !

          • Bob’s Diner

I think he’ll be great as a heel; when he was US champ, I loved his little skits going to town to town in America seeing how inferior to him they were. Putting him with Heyman is certainly a good move. Besides, according to the commentators at Raw, that was just a ‘bizarro’ crowd cheering for the bad guys

  • Xavier

On a side note, I like the fact that Cena is bringing up that he’s the measuring stick of the business right now. At this point promos like that will serve him a lot better then his underdog promos. While being one of probably only a hand full of Cena supports on the Internet (lol) even I sometime get tired of how the WWE pushes him as an underdog even though he wins most of the time. The measuring stick stuff works better for his character at this point in his career given the titles he’s won and the long list of guys he’s defeated, Cena the grumpy veteran telling these new young cats on the block that they ain’t ish until they go through him is an aspect of him that I hope the WWE pushes from now on while Bryan has his run with the title. It opens up more possibilities with him.

    • Alex

I agree, I feel like their making some tweaks to Cena’s character without turning him heel and it’s working well for him.

    • Bob’s Diner

I’m with you. He’s actually been making the point to mention he has been top dog for 10 years now, which I can appreciate.

  • Andrew

They would be making a big mistake by not turning cesaro face smh

  • http://www.facebook.com/WrestlingRoundupRadio Joshua Tucker

That’s going to be quite the sight seeing Bryan in the same ring as Hogan.

  • Guest

well so much for that. I’m not going to be able to go to Smackdown next week after all. I’m not allowed to drive to Nashville.

    • Mysterion

This is the single most random comment of the whole of WrestleMania weekend and beyond…

  • Ally

So Layla is with Fandango now? Interesting…

  • Scott Davies

For Kofi Kingston fans looking for him to get a push.
I’m afraid I got some BAD NEWS!!!

  • Mandy

Fandango with Layla? I like the sound of this! They need to give Layla something to do, its not like she is weak in the ring infact she is one of the stronger divas in WWE right now

  • BigMike

makes ZERO sense. Why put an over Cesaro with Heyman? he was well on his way to being a top face and now he will be stuck with Heyman, who is great, but will IMO Hold Cesaro back. Cesaro needs to be on his own

  • Brandon van Reenen

I hope Cesaro went back to his old French rock theme song… really hate that Real American theme. :/

  • Draven

They should have a match with cesaro vs cena in a No1 contenders match for the winner to face bryan at mitb and have cesaro go over and challenge for the title.
