A lumberjack match? They could’ve done something good instead they ruin it like always.

    • Bob’s Diner

I was about to say the same thing – standard match had everyone interested. Lumberjack just took it down a whole bunch of notches for me

    • Alex

I know I was expecting the briefcase to be on the line at the very least. Weaking booking for something that seemed like common sense. Ambrose is crazy but he’s not dumb enough to not try to win the case from Rollins.

  • Eddie Edwards

    A lumberjack match? Really?

  • Brandon van Reenen

A lumberjack match does nothing for the feud. If anything, it’s to get some random faces on the pay-per-view. This should have easily been a ladder match for the briefcase or something that speaks to Ambrose’s character a little more like a hardcore, street fight or steel cage match. Poor booking.

  • David F

well bet on Ambrose v Rollins night of champions and hell in cell. Rollins and Ambrose are basically kicked to side on Summerslam. I feel bad for both. This stipulation does not give either one chance to shine.

    • David C

It certainly doesn’t and that’s probably the reason behind it.

This way all the attention will be on Reigns and Lesnar.
This year’s Summerslam is turning into the opposite of last years.

I love lumberjack matches. This Ambrose/Rollins feud is really picking up big time

A dozen good to great options to go with, they choose the $#*% one…

  • Rayner Chee-bai

Lumberjack Match? They really knew how to book Dean Ambrose to looks like stupid

  • Ken

In other news, I’d like to extend my heart felt congradulations to Damen Sandow… on becoming a modern day Barry Horowitz.

  • Venom

This is really not fair to the people who bought tickets and got this super light show. It’s not like they knew in advance when purchasing tickets that majority of the crew will be in Australia.

As for lumberjack. Yeah it’s lame. But I think the reason behind it is so Seth can’t run away and they didn’t want to do a cage match since October is HIAC and February is elimination chamber.

A lumberjack match!?!?! Who got creative drunk before writing this show!

  • Mike McCarthy

Lumberjack match is disappointing, but it won’t be the first match of the Rollins/Ambrose series so I’m not too upset. The real thing that’s pissing me off is Goldust & Stardust losing 2 of 3 matches in their first week back. They have so much potential and it’s almost as if they’re throwing it in the trash, as if it’s just another spoke on the wheel of Rhodes family ribs. WWE’s worst mistake will always be prioritizing politics over the product.
