WWE is taping this week’s Smackdown from the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Below are ongoing results:

WWE Smackdown (Airing Friday on SyFy):

* Tables, ladders, and chairs are set up around ringside to promote the upcoming TLC pay-per-view. Lilian Garcia makes her return to ring announcing tonight. The announcers make their way to the ring, and when Booker T walks down the ramp, Cody Rhodes ambushes him from behind.

* Lilian begins to address the crowd on her new position as Smackdown ring announcer, but Rhodes interrupts and informs the crowd that he will be acting as the ring announcer for the evening.

* It is announced that the show will feature a series of Beat The Clock matches, in which different matches are held and the Superstar to win in the shortest time wins the challenge. Tonight, the winner will get to choose the stipulation for his match at TLC.

* Wade Barrett b. Ezekiel Jackson

* Beth Phoenix & Natalya b. AJ & Kaitlyn. After AJ tapped out again, Kaitlyn turned on AJ, aligning herself with the Divas of Doom.

* The Big Show & Mark Henry meet face-to-face in the ring. They both talk trash to each other and hype their match at TLC. Henry insults Show by saying that he isn’t the monster he used to be. * Sheamus b. David Otunga

* This week’s cryptic lookwithin2012 vignette aired.

* Zack Ryder b. Heath Slater

* Cody Rhodes b. Daniel Bryan by disqualification. Booker T caused the disqualification by getting into the ring and attacking Rhodes.

To late adding a 3rd person to the Diva's of dom is not going to help them as long as they are made to look weak.

    • H.M.

They should have put Tamina instead.

      • vivalajady

        i agree

        • cryus

          agree

  • Scott

What does the winner of the Beat the Clock challenge win?

  • Harry

The DOD still suck losing to kelly kelly thats humiliating

  • H.M.

    Rhodes vs Book at TLC.

Have to say the card looks great.

    • smoothjj

The card looks good minus the nash vs triple h match, the fact that we get another horrendous match of big show and henry, and that Daniel Bryan will probably be left off the card AGAIN!

      • H.M.

Be a bit optimistic here. It's easy to find the negatives in everything. Instead of fretting over what isn't there(DB) look at what we have :)

Nash/HHH is a shaky one. It could go either way IMO.

Show/Henry need to do some epic stuff in order to make this one entertaining.

      • Kyle Sunderland

Possible Daniel Bryan cash in after the match??

  • larry

and this is why booker is rdy for the hall of fame this year, he has no problem fighting for the ic belt and giving it more prestige and making it a top title, by helping the younger guys out. I hope wwe never pisses him off again.

    • lukey

It would be a mistake for book to win. Cody is a top talent and putting Jim over Booker will help his career tremendously

      • smoothjj

Cody is far from a "top talent" He's a career midcarder who should never be in the main event picture. The best thing he has done was learn from randy orton and being tagged with ted.

  • wwegurl87

Why does the wwe insist on trying to force us to like david otunga?? He can't wrestle, so why in the heck is he still in matches with the top stars??

    • Mr.123

WWE is not forcing anyone to like otunga, that being said, he has alot of potential. I feel like wwe pulled him out of FCW too early thats why he seems so green. But he has the looks and mic skills and if he has the drive he can become a decent in ring talent. He's credible too with his size and can pull heat. Look at del rio and ziggler, good in ring talents, but no reaction from the crowd = momentum killer. Plus i like his weasel character, i say just give him time.

      • H.M.

Ziggler's actually been getting more over and if you noticed the crowds almost always into his matches nowadays.

And I agree, Otunga could go places beacuse he has potential as far as looks and character go. He definitely needs to polish up in the ring but, hey, at least he's no Hogan right?

    • smoothjj

You're exactly right and the 2 idiots who ranked you down obviously can't assess talent. Otunga has some charisma and voice but his matches are so boring and he can't wrestle for anything.

  • christopher525

So, umm, looks like it'll be Henry and Show, for the 3rd straight month, in a chairs match this time. Wow, impressive. And they had the nerve to play up that Christian was pathetic for asking for multiple title shots.

The Divas of Doom need Kharma.

    • H.M.

The Divas division needs Kharma period.

  • H.M.

I don't get it…Randy Orton wins the Beat the Clock challenge and faces Barrett in a Tables match?

I'm confused as to what the purpose of SD's BTCC was…mind-numbing stupidity yet again.

    • Uncut

I think the challenge was between randy, dolph, ryder and barrett. Since they all have a match this sunday, whoever has the best time gets to pick the stipulation. IDK it was still stupid tho.

    • Jesse N

The winner of BTCC could choose the stipulation to his match.

    • smoothjj

whoever won the btcc got to add the stipulation to their match at tlc…randy won..he already had a match building to face barrett so he just added the stipulation.

      • H.M.

Thanks everyone, that clears things up. It's still confusing though lol. Whatever happened to 'I challenge you to a LADDER MATCH!" ?

  • jonathon212

and ziggler loses again…ugh. theyre trying to elevate ziggler but he seems lose every match hes in. he shouldnt be losing so much at this point because right now he has no credibility by losing all the time

    • smoothjj

Sounds like wwe is doing the right thing finally…ziggler shouldn't of been elevated so quickly he shouldn't be on the verge of breaking onto the main event scene already he should just be competing for some mid card titles and do some more tag work with swagger. Depush ziggler to push ryder or evan bourne sounds like the best move wwe could make, imo.

      • Matt scott

Ryder = not ready at all. And I been a Ryder fan since before his ECW run. And Bourne!? After a suspension!? HA! You really are clueless about WWE.

      • H.M.

That applies more to Alberto Del Rio then Ziggler. He's been in the midcard for years now whereas ADR has been here for a year and a half and he's a Royal Rumble winner, MITB briefcase holder and a former 2 time world champion, yet nowhere near as over or as successful as he could be.

  • http://thebadgersden.co.uk sdunne87

I'm not sure which is worse… the fact that I first read the report as Randy Orton beat Ziggler in 2 seconds or the fact that I thought that scenario would have been possible under WWE's booking.

    • N.L

I believe it said Randy Orton beat Ziggler with 2 seconds left on the clock…not in 2 seconds

  • yusuf

Orton didn't beat Ziggler in 2 seconds, he beat him with 2 seconds left in the beat the clock challenge.

  • Jackwagon

Can people read? sdunne87 didn't say Orton beat him in two seconds. He said he first read it as that, then realized what it said. His point being that when he first read it and THOUGHT it said Orton won in two seconds he didn't find that to be unbelievable. Meaning the way WWE books matches, he wouldn't have been surprised if it did read as Orton winning in two seconds.

    • http://thebadgersden.co.uk sdunne87

Thanks Jackwagon… that's exactly what I was getting at.
