*Spoilers* Smackdown Taping Results From Oklahoma City

WWE taped this week’s WWE Smackdown Tuesday night from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Below are full results:

WWE Smackdown (Airing on SyFy):

* Alberto Del Rio opens the show, after being introduced by Ricardo Rodriguez. He is interupted by Damien Sandow, who demeans the crowd and Rodriguez. This leads to a match between Sandow and Del Rio.

* Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez b. Damien Sandow by submission with the Cross Armbreaker.

* Backstage, Kane and Daniel Bryan argue over who was responsible for their victory over The Prime Time Players on Raw. Bryan tells Kane that he had a rematch set for tonight, where the handicaps would be reversed: Kane is blindfolded while Bryan has one hand tied behind his back.

* Antonio Cesaro b. The Miz in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls match to retain the United States Championship. Cesaro got the first fall by pinfall with the Neutralizer. The Miz got the second by submission with the Figure Four Leglock. Cesaro won the match with a roll-up and a handful of tights.

* Backstage, Sheamus assures Randy Orton that he has his back tonight when he faces The Big Show, in case The Shield shows up.

* Jim Ross meets Jack Swagger & Zeb Colter in the ring for an interview. JR says that he was the one who recruited Swagger as an Oklahoma Sooner. Swagger denounces the team for some cheap heat. Colter says that Oklahoma, like the rest of America, has changed. Colter explains how immigrants are destroying America and how he and Swagger refuse to let it happen. Colter says that "a real American"  will win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIX. Colter says that Alberto Del Rio needs to get out of the country. JR tells Swagger that he is being brainwashed by Colter, but Colter says that JR brainwashed Swagger when he recruited him. Colter says he speaks the truth, but JR says he doesn't care what he thinks. Swagger gets in JR's face and knocks his hat off. Swagger backs JR into a corner, but Alberto Del Rio rushes out to make the save. Del Rio says that Swagger and Colter are the real problem with America. Del Rio stares down Swagger as he and Colter exit the ring.

* The Prime Time Players b. Team Hell No. Before the match, Kane was blindfolded and Daniel Bryan had one arm tied behind his back. The blindfold that Bryan put onto Kane had a goat face on it. During the match, Kane and Bryan started arguing, which allowed Titus O'Neil to get the win with a roll-up. Kane and Bryan continued arguing until Bryan suggested "hugging it out." Kane put the goat mask on Bryan, slapped him, and left the ring.

* Backstage, Matt Striker interviews The Big Show. Big Show says that he's going to make an impact on the Road to WrestleMania by chokeslamming Randy Orton.

* Sin Cara b. Heath Slater w/ Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal

* Backstage, Fandango tries to teach Matt Striker how to correctly pronounce "Fandango." Fandango says that he is ready for the ring, but he will not debut until Striker can pronounce his name correctly.

* Randy Orton vs. The Big Show ended when The Shield interfered. Sheamus quickly made the save. Big Show got involved, hitting Roman Reigns with a WMD. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins retreated and Big Show turned his attention to Orton, hitting him with a chokeslam. Sheamus then hit Big Show with a Brogue Kick to end the show.

    Love the dirt sheet

  • Joey

How many times are we going to see the over-recycled “delayed debut” story line!? Firs with Brodus Clay, then with Damien Sandow, now Fandango! I’m sure there are others that I’ve missed but overall I just despise that particular example of booking.

    • Ricky

In all truth it’s stupid to debut someone this close to Mania. I think they should hold off until after Mania, so he gets some TV time.

      • B-Swagg

They’re going to have him debut so they can set up the ultimate dance-off at WM between Brodus Clay, Tensai, Fandango, Khali and Hornswoggle. The main event for WM is set.

  • jdl

If a “worst reason to delay an in ring debut” award exists, Fandango just won it.

    • Michael

Nope remember when Brodus Clay was supposed to debut and Vince had big Johnny continue to delay it. They kept building him as a monster ready to attack then you get somebody call my momma.

      • Xavier

I thought that was brillant actually. Great swerve by the WWE IMHO.

  • C-Raves

Remember Johnny Curtis never really got a chance after winning his season of NXT. Now the delay with this Fandango gimmick. Hope Curtis gets a shot as he is a talented worker. Also interested to see what feuds Sheamus, Orton, and Big Show end up in for Wrestlemania since none of them are in one of the title pictures. The Shield continues to impress!

    • B-Swagg

NXT was kinda silly though, they said only one person comes to WWE nek minnit Season 1: Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Darren Young, Ryback and Heath Slater are all on the main roster as well as Titus O’neil, Kaitlyn, AJ, Naomi, Brodus Clay, Aksana. They’re were all part of season 1,2 & 3 so shouldn’t there only be 3 people on the main roster from NXT? It never really made sense to me but there is a lot of great young talent that came from it.

  • WM 29 Randy vs Big Show???

  • Basima

WM29 Randy Orton, Seamus, Big Show Vs The Shield!

    • michael

Can’t be. Sheamus is building a feud with wade. Bug and Orton seems like the possible feud.

  • Adam “SwipeManMcNasty”

That sounds like a really bad ending…

  • Adam “SwipeManMcNasty”

I want Taker involved with the shield in some way. And a tag match would lessen the stress on his body. And they could use the rub. Everyone learns something from the deadman.
But, I can see the argument that Taker should have a singles bout at WM.

    • Dustyn

It looks like it will be Undertaker vs CM Punk. If The Shield dosen’t have a match at WM, which I think they might, I think a good spot for them to interfere would be in the Taker/Punk match.

  • I’m going to have to watch this Smackdown. Interesting Big Show hit WMD on a Shield member. Hope they continue something with that.

  • Loren Goldstein

Did someone forget to tell Show that he’s a heel, and as a heel he should let The Shield do what they want and not fight against them? Or was this his face turn? In which case should he be told not to hit another face?

    • Snap

Maybe Show was just annoyed that they interfered, feeling he didn’t need any help to beat Orton? Thus, face of heel, if they get in his way they’ll eat a WMD.

      • Loren Goldstein

I like that thinking. About time we got a little deeper then just the typical “I’m a heel, you’re a face” battle lines
