The stipulation for John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis at Sunday's WWE Over the Limit pay-per-view is that if Cena wins, Laurinaitis is "fired." The match will be a singles match and any WWE star that attempts to interfere, will be "fired."

WWE Over the Limit takes place Sunday from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. We'll have exclusive live play-by-play coverage here at

This seems kind of predictable to me. Either Big Show (since he got "fired") or Lesnar (since he "quit") will interfere on Laurinitis' behalf. I hope I am wrong.

    • Lee

You forgot they both could interfere Lesnar Helping Ace and Big Show Helping Cena so Show can tell Ace good luck in your future endeavors.

    • Van

I's a loophole because on tv,they're no longer part of the roster and it says "any WWE star that attempts to interfere will be fired"

  • Maxx Stylez

Does anyone else see Big Show interfering to get his job back?

    • Anand

Maybe show or probably Lesnar to get some payback on cena for beating him and injuring him so that cena can take some time off…

Thankfully – No Lord Tensai with his red tights 🙂

  • Owen

Who here thinks that nobody is going to be fired after this "match" is over?

    • Anand

I do. The match will result in a no-contest bout with interference from someone to help johnny boy and beat up Cena. This way Cena will be written off for a month or so to recuperate and come back for his revenge.

Or – They will do all the WWE fans a favor and let Cena defeat this stone voiced moron and write him off TV shows for good 🙂

  • The Breaker

The segment between Cena and Laurinaitis was one of the worst in recent memory. Cena just wouldn't shut up, and Johnny Ace never even got to his "big announcement". And the timing of the letter from the Board of Directors was pretty fishy. They could have just brought HHH out there to make the announcement. Either way, this did nothing for me. The most interesting outcome for their match at Over The Limit could involve Big Show interfering for John Laurinaitis in an attempt to get his job back. He's already terminated, so he's got nothing left to lose.

I just hope this match doesn't drag down the PPV too much. The rest of the card looks great.

I could see Cena vs. Big Show used for a while.

In my personal opinion, I thought their matches were pretty cool. I wouldn't mind seeing it again and having it fall out in a couple of months as were Big Show knocks out Laurinitis to take him off the TV time.

This is pretty bs. WWE with another of their "fired" angle. We all know that John Laryngitis is drawing a decent heat recently. So, he won't get "fired". Lesnar or pretty obvious, Big Show will interfere on Big Johnny's behalf; to impress Laryngitis so he will get his job back. Anyway, I don't buy any of WWE's "fired" angle. Laryngitis will shows up on Raw Supershow the day after Over The Limit.

    • Mmmh

      Lol Layrngitis

  • Noah

I think big show might just be taking time off

  • Maybe it's a way of getting Tensai off screen as they have finally realised what a crap gimmick it is.

  • John Urinalysis

    I'm calling it now.
At Over The Limit, Lesnar comes out and interferes on Laurinaitis's behalf; then Big Show's music hits and everyone goes nuts. Then Big Show and Lesnar have a stare down and then instead of beating each other, they both begin to pummel Cena.

This will "sideline Cena" so he can take the time off that he needs to deal with his divorce and let his injuries heal.

Stevie Wonder can see this crap coming.
