Stone Cold Steve Austin Reveals What It Would Take For Him To Return To The Ring, Daniel Bryan Talks Veganism

- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin had the following to say to ZooToday in an interview about what it would take for him to return to the ring:

A lot of zeros… you know, if the right situation, the right opponent and the right circumstances came up for the WWE, then it would certainly be something worth considering. Could I have another match or two? Yeah. Physically I am in really good shape right now. People seem to think I am half-dead!

- WNW reader Fernando sent in an article from The Huffington Post with quotes from Daniel Bryan, in which he discusses his vegan lifestyle and more. Bryan had the following to say about his health since the switch to a vegan diet:

"My health is so much better. I'm bigger now than I was eating meat. My lifts in the gym are better. I'm in better shape. A lot of people thought you couldn't be a top-level athlete as a vegan, but people like Mac Danzig and Jake Shields are proving that's wrong. And it's better for me as a performer. The other wrestlers just think it's weird. They don't understand it."

Good for Daniel Bryan. Eating vegan is hard to do, especially if you love meat, but it's definitely a logical way of improving health and increasing overall energy. It's funny how Bryan and Austin were paired in the same article here. "YES" is clearly going to replace "WHAT" … not a huge improvement, but definitely better. Those "What" chants annoy the hell out of WWE superstars and executives. I can't say that I blame them. Wrestling fans are smarter than what people give them credit for. But those types of chants probably make us look dumber to the outside observer. I just wish there were a better way of being loud without saying something dumb or pointless. But everyone wants to be heard in the arena, I guess.

Actually, scientifically speaking, to quit meat as an adult can be very unhealthy and incredibly detrimental to your health as your body starts losing very important nutrients. I once dated someone who went vegetarian randomly and she got very ill very quickly.

Why does every one think stone cold cant wrestle anymore i reckon hes got one great match left in him

    • Austin 3:16

Um he has a lot more than just one. See that's what he's talking about. He's not half-dead. People make it seem like Austin can only have just one match and after that "one" match he can never wrestle again. Stone Cold said himself many times recently that if he had to come back as the only alternative b/c he wasn't doing well on the other side w/ movies, he would definatly come back full-time and wrestle. He's in great shape! He also said if he had to come back full-time (if he had no other choice) that he would be at the top…not fruity pebble John Cena! Which is a no brainer, Cena can't touch Austin.

Great another wrestler to come in and perform as a shell of his former self.
