Storyline “Injury” Updates On Brodus Clay, Kofi Kingston & R-Truth

In order to sell the beatings from Big Show on last night’s Raw Supershow, WWE posted the following “injury updates” on Brodus Clay, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth:

NEW ORLEANS – Following a remorseless beating at the massive fists of Big Show, Brodus Clay suffered a concussion and several bruised ribs according to WWE Physician Chris Amann. Defying Dr. Amann’s advice to be taken to a medical facility for further evaluation, Clay refused and was able to leave New Orleans Arena with Naomi & Cameron shortly after 11:45 p.m. Central time.

WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth were also victims of Big Show’s wrath, both suffering multiple contusions to various areas of their bodies as a result of being thrown into the ringside barrier and steel ring steps, respectively.

I would like have seen less of a beating on the same 3 faces and had a few more run from out back only to be left out cold around the ring with Show looking down the ramp at the carnage he caused to end the show.

Does anyone else know how this will probably play out? Big Show is finally being built up like a giant and powerful heel (like he should be as per WCW days, because honestly, no one wants to see a friendly giant) and Brock will come back and take his frustrations with WWE, contract stuff, etc… And feud with Show.

Now that is someone who makes sense.

Only problem with that is I think that it would lead to crap matches…. Lesnar needs an opponent around his size to give the impression of all round athlete…ie speed as well as power.

Against big show he’d look clumsy, and even though show would probably call the whole match, and might be able to carry him, there’d be too many spots in the match which wouldn’t be up to scratch. They both APPEAR pretty stiff, doesn’t seem to me to be styles that go well together in the ring….

l am confused, l thought Show was already a heel, after ADR, (or his personal ring announcer), running him down with the car, and the "hall of pain" thing of mark henry. or was he (D&D style), neutral then?

Brodus should get a title shot

If Brock does feud with the Show, I hope their matches turn out better than Brock v. Goldberg. I couldn't wait to see that one, then while I was watching it, I couldn't wait to turn it off. I expected way more from those two monsters than they gave.
