The Miz On "Rove LA," Ryder Says This Week's YouTube Show Is Going To "Suck," Creative Plans For Drew McIntyre

- WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will appear on "Rove LA" with Rove McManus on Saturday night at Midnight/11c on the TV Guide Network. You can see a promo piece for the appearance embedded in the video below:

- Zack Ryder didn't exactly give this week's episode of Z! True Long Island Story a ringing endorsement. Ryder wrote the following on Twitter:

- WWE is now calling the stable of Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre "The Band." I'm not sure this will appease the many McIntyre fans but at least he has a storyline.

  • Adam “Swipe”

Ummm…. doesn’t TNA own “the band”? Remember? The kinda-sorta-nWo?

  • Tekk

    Same thing I was thinking

  • PainOfDemise

I hate how that stable of Mahal, Slater, and McIntyre was just thrown together out of no where, and now they got a stupid name to go along with it. I'm glad these guys are getting some air time, but honestly just looking at them, they do not mesh together. Especially with how dorky Slater is compared to how serious Mahal and McIntyre are.

I'm betting this isn't going to last very long.

  • CaliburUK

I liked Encore for the stable name tbh, or even better Encorre and play up that Slater is tryna form his own version of the Corre as that brought him some of his biggest success

    • XKonn247

Because the Corre was such a well though out group that we all loved.

  • Patrick Peralta

McIntyre is the only one in the group I like and I'm glad they are pushing him but I wish it was with out Slater and Mahal. plus "THE BAND" name for them is stupid and belongs to TNA or I should say NASH since back in the day he would all ways say "THE BAND" (NWO ) is getting back together.

Rove McManus is the best tv host in the world and I sure hope my Australian buddy finds his feet over there and shows what a talent he is and I also see Miz as the good guy, he seems to get more heel acts done to him than he does to others

  • LeBron James

Jinder Mahal makes no sense in that "band". These current WWE writers are really stupid.

    • XKonn247

You not remember the creative asked lower card workers how they’d like to be used. This is not a surprise. No doubt Slater, Mahal and McIntyre asked for this opportunity.

  • Shawn

The should just team McIntyre and Mahal together name them Thee Empire and get rid of slater make slater into a jobber that gets a small pushes here and there u know

  • PileDriver

How about a new 3 Stooges ripoff? Heathy, Drewy and Towelie?
