The Miz To Replace Randy Orton In Lead Role Of “The Marine: Homefront”

The Miz will replace Randy Orton in the upcoming WWE Studios production “The Marine: Homefront.”

Orton was originally cast for the film but was removed from the lead role after outrage due to his dishonorable discharge from the United States Marines Corps.

The film is about a Marine trying to rescue his kidnapped from a terrorist. The film is WWE’s third installment of The Marine franchise and will begin filming in Vancouver this June.

    So these two things will happen to The Miz now –
    1) He will need to be "injured" in the next month to go film this movie.
    2) When he returns he will battle Cena for the right to salute and wear camo jorts to the ring.

    The Miz as a Marine? Are they even trying any more? Why don't you cast Daniel Bryan as a cattle rancher in a movie while you're at it? Better yet, the Undertaker as a wedding planner? Orton is still ten times the marine he is, past mistakes aside.

    Miz, stole, Randy Orton's, EFFING MOVIE SPOT! GAH THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Dishonorable discharge or not, Orton is 3 times more the actor than Miz is. I like Miz and all but Randy is my favorite WWE superstar. Randy should be put in for the lead.
