The Rock announced on the 1000th episode of WWE Raw that he will challenge for the WWE championship at Royal Rumble 2013.

WWE Royal Rumble 2013 will take place Sunday, January 27, 2013 from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. We’ll have exclusive live play-by-play coverage here at WrestlingNewsWorld.com.

  Totally tarnishes WM 28′s tag line of: ‘Once In A Lifetime’ though. I want Rock vs Brock for the WWE title at WM 29. Punk vs Austin. Cena vs Undertaker!

How cool would it be if punk loses to Rock and then enters the Rumble and wins to challenge at Wrestlemania!? This past Rumble they kept going on and on about how anyone can enter, I think that would awesome!

With everything that happened I really hope NOW that punk loses at Royal Rumble to the rock and they continue a fued til wrestlemania. I think that could be good plus we get to see more of the rock
