The Rock To Play Hercules In New Movie

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has signed on to play “Hercules” in the film set to begin production in early 2013. The project will be co-produced by Paramount and MGM and will be based on the popular graphic novel called Hercules: The Thracian Wars, which was published in 2008.

    The Rock looks like Hercules, and can play the badass needed for the character. With that being said, Brett Ratner is directing and well, WHO THE HELL KEEPS GIVING HIM WORK!

      That's what I was going to say. I'm actually part Hawaiian and this is almost as ridiculous as when the rumor was going around that he was once considered to play DUKE NUKEM in a movie that was supposed to be made WTF.

      I have no clue why ppl would even consider him for a serious role, he CANNOT act for beans. This is especially true for serious roles, he can be in comedies, or stupid kid movies but NOT a serious role. Even in wrestling he has the worse mad face I've ever seen, it seriously looks like he is taking a dumb.

      He is in no way able to play hercules, not only because he is not capable to play the role but wtf, sorry that's like a white man playing in movie as Denzel washington wtf.

    I mean if your the champ you need to be on tvs every single week till mania right?

      Well that's how it SHOULD be, but I doubt it will work that way. I still bet they will plan on strapping him. He'll make more appearences and probably do a lot of the videos like he did before.
