Richard Gray October 22, 2012 WWE News 5 Comments

Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald is reporting that Ene Watts and the Watts family have agreed on a deal to sell about 1200 hours of Mid-South Wrestling footage to WWE.

“If fans are able to somewhere down the road buy volumes where they can see X number of weeks of television or by the year where there’s X number of episodes on a multi-disc set, they’re going to see how it was like reading an action adventure book,” Jim Ross told The Miami Herald. “One chapter led to the next chapter led to the next with a crescendo and then a payoff, and then the book continues.”

Mid-South Wrestling, baby! I remember watching that show and seeing Ted Dibiase, Sr., The Junkyard Dog, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Mr. Wrestling II, and many, many others when I was a kid. I'd buy those DVD's in a heartbeat!
