Thoughts On Scott Hall, Mick Foley vs. Dean Ambrose, Christy Hemme's Career-Ending Injury, Steiner's Tweets, WWE Injury Updates

Shares 0

Do you think Scott Hall will ever get better or will he just keep getting drunk until he eventually drinks himself to death?

My hope is that Scott Hall gets better and is able to overcome his very serious addiction to alcohol. I really agree with Kevin Nash when he said the only person that can help Scott is Scott. Hall has had some of the best treatment available, completely covered by WWE, but continues to relapse. At this point it's up to him and there is nothing anyone can really do.

What's the deal with the Twitter drama between Mick Foley and Dean Ambrose?

The stuff between Mick Foley and Dean Ambrose is an angle that started with this video over Wrestlemania XXVIII weekend. It's all a work that will result in the main roster call-up for Ambrose (formerly known as Jon Moxley). If you need to catch-up, check out the Dean Ambrose news page.

Why does Christy Hemme no longer wrestle?

Christy Hemme retired from the ring due to a neck injury sustained in 2009 while training with AJ Styles for a match against Awesome Kong at TNA Genesis. She tried to return after undergoing surgery and rehab but ultimately it ended her in-ring career.

Are Scott Steiner's Tweets just him whining or is there some truth to his words?

Scott Steiner can be very opinionated to the point where he comes off as arrogant and annoying, however, his frustration with things in TNA aren't limited to just him. There is a clear divide in TNA from the bottom to the top, with much of the undercard upset at the main event direction of the company. Not everyone in that company is riding the Hulk Hogan/Eric Bischoff bandwagon and I could name names… but I won't;).

How is the injury list looking in WWE? Is Sin Cara still out for a few months?

Sin Cara isn't due back until next month at the absolute earliest. Rey Mysterio is targeting next month for his return. Layla is said to be close to returning while Ted DiBiase began getting back in in-ring shape this week. Justin Gabriel is scheduled to be back towards the latter part of May while Wade Barrett isn't expected back until SummerSlam.

Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) is gonna be big. Really reminds me of the younger version of Roddy Piper.

    • Bault16

He doesn’t remind me of anyone, which is the best thing he could possibly have going for him.

  • Flip It Sideways and Stick It up Jabronis Ass!!

scott steiner is the most under rated wrestler. He has the look, size and is good on the mic!! But he has never been a world champion in wwe. Vince actually dropped the ball on scott!! ROH should now take the oppotunity and make scott the new face of company.

    • Maze

oK, what Scott Steiner are you watching, that dude sucks on the mic. Ill give credit where credit is due and say he is great in the ring, but come on dude the guy cuts the worst promos ever.

      • Blazeking

I don't know if you knew this, but Scott acts like that on the mic purposefully. The guy is actually really smart and he's used the "meathead" gimmick" for a loooong time.

        • simbasamba

My personal fave is the promo where he talked the earth rotating and lining up with the moon or something. Or the one in TNA where he did some nonsense mathematics to calculate he had more than 100% chance of winning…

        • Maze

yeah I know hes not an idiot, and Ive been in the business for over 13 years and personally know he cannot work the mic.

The TNAmainevemt picture looks good to me with homegrown talent like Roode and Storm competing for the title. Somebody is always going to comlain. But I dont get Garret leading or even being on a team at Lethal Lockdown.

    • John

I don’t get Garret being born period!

  • Aldin94

SUMMERSLAM!!! Hope Wade gets a big push when he comes back.

    • hurrigame

He should come back and kick the crap out of Otunga for stealing his gimmick.

  • A.J.

Garret bischoff is the biggest disgrace to the wrestling industry.I don’t know if it was his father’s idea for him to come into the biz but they both suck anyways.stuff like this are the reason TNA is not a watchable show. When they have talent like aj,Joe,daniels, etc and they push a nobody like Garrett just because he is the daughter of Eric it just makes me sick. What makes it even worse is that people still support that crap.Steiner might be annoying at times but he makes sense this time. Why can’t Vince just by the piece of crap company and close it and put them out of their misery.

    • John

LMAO! The daughter of Eric Bishoff! Why can’t Vince just buy this piece of crap company and put them outta business…you a funny dude!

  • Kevin

Wow. I didn't realize the WWE had so many people out with injury. Hopefully they'll all heal properly and come back stronger than ever. As for TNA, I've said it before and I'll say it again: if TNA EVER wants to be a serious contender against the WWE, they have to get rid of Hogan/Bischoff. Bischoff brought down the WCW, and I'm sure Hogan had a hand in it. They are NOT the team you want running your company if you're serious about making your company Number One.

  • thatguy

Scott hall will NEVER get better or do anything to better for himself. If it was going to happened it would have happened long ago. With Nash saying that. its basically him saying they are all tired of trying.

  • H.M.h

The funny thing is, that Layla, Rey Mysterio, Dibiase, Barrett, Gabriel, Sin Cara and Christian are all sidelined superstars…and they all have one thing in common – they're Smackdown superstars. The show's been sucking lately and they all bring a lot to the show(even Layla).

    • Alex

      Rey is raw.

Here's something I've wanted to talk about for a while now. Neck Injuries. That's partially why Cena's moveset was kinda limited. Remember, Cena's neck has been fused just like Edge's. You see where Edge is now? You see where Christy is now? Neck injuries are serious so in a way, you can't blame WWE for trying to hold on their their moneymaker for as long as they can while they try to build other stars who can eventually take Cena's place for the new generation. It's looking like Daniel Bryan may get that spot. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" has spread beyond WWE and it's even on ROH shows now!!!

I cringed when Cena took the F-5 because he HAS to protect his neck correctly. One false move and it could have went badly. People always complain about the limited moveset, but never understand why it's limited in the first place. I hate to say it, but maybe if Edge had some moveset restrictions, he could have went a lot longer in his career. Wellness policy is more than just drugs & steroids.

    • Herman Tank

Edge may have retired earlier but I for one preferred watching his matches. Most of Edge's matches were excellent whereas Cena has become stale because of his limited blah blah blah…you know what I mean.

  • chris

Scott Hall is one of the guys I enjoyed watching him more and more as I grew up watching wrestling. I was blown away by him and Ric Flair vs. Mr. Perfect and Randy Savage and it is sad to see his decline but what people need to realise is that when when addiction hits you, there is no off button. You can't just walk away. You won't be free but you can still fight

  • matt

TNA is in some way like WCW: Bad booking, incompetent wrestlers getting unfairly pushed, stupid storylines that make no sense at all, larger than life egos causing nothing but depression and misery for the locker room of some of the most talented wrestlers in the world, and loss of great talent

  • Bogusstang

Have u never seen poppa pump on the mike. H e is hilarious like when he did the math w petey williams and insults wives. He was esp good w that gorgeous blonde lauren tna announcer. The looks she would give him.

  • Jonathan L.

TNA would be much better off if they rid themselves of Hogan/Bischoff and signed Paul Heyman to a deal. Paul is a wrestling genius, much the likes of Vince McMahon, he just needs the financial backing. I watched a YouTube video where Paul discussed going to work for TNA; however, he would need to have the power to rid them of their 40+ year old talent as these guys are past their prime and aren't doing the company any favours.

As a pro wrestling fan, I want WWE to have competition and for there to be an alternative; however, NEW WCW ran by OLD Hogan/Bischoff isn't helping anything.

I think the biggest issue with Hogan/Bischoff/Dixie is they all seem to have the need to be on camera all the time. Maybe if they stuck to the behind-the-scenes kind of stuff, maybe TNA would be a different place.

Everyone needs to watch the Indy wrestling and see Jon Moxley in action, At one point in his young career he was called a prodigy because of how good he really is I am from CIncinnati area and he had spent alot of time wrestling in various Indy spots and came here often and he could go very well in the ring and has verbal skills he is original and honestly could be a combo between Piper/Jericho/Punk Imo

  • AJG316

I didn't know that Justin gabriel was injured, that explains a lot. Personally wish him well
