TNA Announces New Talent Sharing Partnership With WWL

TNA Wrestling has announced a new partnership with World Wrestling League in Puerto Rico. We reported on Thursday here on WrestlingNewsWorld.com that Abyss, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe and James Storm were advertised for their 4/21 show in San Juan.

This will be the beginning of the partnership as TNA will be sending talent to WWL shows.

What ever happened to the boycott U.S. wrestlers and promoters had against working in Puerto Rico because of the Bruiser Brody murder? I guess too much time has passed for companies and performers to still honor that boycott. Which is a real shame IMO. Though I’m not sure if WWE ever goes there or not. You hear about them travelling everywhere, but I don’t recall hearing about them ever travelling to P.R. for any shows. Hopefully they are still sticking with the boycott because that whole situation was a real travesty.
