TNA Destination X Main Event Set; How The X Division Champ Can Cash In For A TNA Title Shot

TNA Destination X will be headlined by TNA Champion Bobby Roode defending against Austin Aries. Per the stipulation set on this week’s Impact Wrestling, any X Division Champion holding the belt going into Destination X can relinquish the title in favor of a TNA Championship shot.

TNA Destination X 2012 will take place Sunday, July 8, 2012 from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We’ll have exclusive live play-by-play coverage here at WrestlingNewsWorld.com.

Well, that’s a…good (?) way of getting the title off Aries and onto another X Division wrestler without having Aries actually lose it. He’s certainly not going to beat Roode. But then what? Back into the X Division to get his belt back? That’ll take all of two minutes, unless he suddenly starts losing now that he has no belt.
