Wrestling News World reader Jacob Monhaut sent in the following report from last night's Impact Wrestling house show from the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Indiana:
* Austin Aries b. Brian Kendrick and Alex Shelly in a triple threat match for the TNA X Division Championship
* Winter b. Velvet Sky for Knockouts title
* Mr. Anderson b. Bully Ray. Before the match, Bully Ray ripped on the crowd and called this lady fat and ugly.
* Beer Money b. TNA Tag Team Champions Mexican America in non-title match.
Intermission
* Jeff Hardy came out to apolojize to local crowd when "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero came out and said he's been watching Jeff on Impact at home on TV because he's never on anymore. Pope says he'll accept Jeffs appology if he can beat him in a match.
* Jeff Hardy b. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero
* A.J. Styles b. Christopher Daniels in a great 30 minute match after hitting Styles Clash.
Side notes:
I met Jeff Hardy before the show and he was real humble.
Anderson was wearing a Packers coat outside and getting heat for it because we're so close to Chicago. He told the fans before the match, "come on I'm the good guy, the game isn't until tomorrow."
Something happened in the tag match. After it was over BMI stormed off and during intermission I saw Roode yelling at the security guards in the hallway.
My first TNA show as I've only seen WWF/WWE in the past. Definitely going to go back.
Attendance maybe 1000. Maybe.
