Hey all I attended the TNA house show tonight at Copps Colliseum and thought I would share the results.
Match 1: Eric Young defeated Suicide
This match was originally advertised as an X title match but due to the change couldn’t happen. Crowd was pro Young since he is from Ontario and Both men played faces but crowd hated Suicide. At one time Young botched his finisher but then hit it shortly after for the 3 count. After the match the crowd chanted you screwed Bret to Earl hebner who was the ref and EY joined in which led to a little match between EY and Earl the bell rang they locked up and EY went into a fast rool up and counted 3 for himself crowd laughed
Match 2: Angelina Love def Taylor Wilde
Crowd gave a good reaction to both but was more behind Love. Love won with her finisher. This was another match that was advertised as a title match but due to a title change did not happen
Match 3: X-Division Title Match: Homicide defeated Consequences Creed
Creed played a heel and kept telling the crowd he was a true American and hated Canada and was not comming back. Homicide won with the Gringo Cutter
Match 4: AJ Styles & Daniels def Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe
This match was advertised as 2 single matches wit AJ vs Angle in the main event and Joe vs Daniels but anyways crowd was gave huge reactions to AJ and Angle. Crowd was really into this one and AJ won it for his time when he reversed the Angle Slam into the Styles Clash. After the match Styles cut a promo on how the fans are the reason he loves to wrestleAfter this there was a 25 minute intermission
Match 5: Jay Lethal vs Sheik Abdul Bashir
Bashir cuts a promo on how he hates Canada. Crowd loved Lethal and after a good 15 minute match Lethal won with the elbow. Lots of good near falls in this one as well.
Main Event for the TNA Tag Team Titles: Beer Money def Team 3D
Crowd gave Beer Money a bit of a reaction but gave a great reaction for Team 3D. There was some comedy spots. Fans asked for tables Roode said there would be none. They ended up gettin the tables out but Bashir ran in and low blowed Ray then Storm capitalized with the Last Call for the 3 after the match Beer Money threw Bashir into the ring where he got a 3D through the table. After the match 3D brought a little boy into the ring and gave him a piece of the table. They then stayed in the ring and posed with fans for pictures. Love, Daniels and Creed also signed autographs.
Other Notes:
About 2000 in attendance Slick Johnson and Earl Hebner were the refs. TNA gave random fans backstage passes during the night. JB was the ring announcer and at one point also read a text message he got from Kurt and Joe stating all they wanted to do was have their match and leave because they hated Canada. JB also teased a TNA ppv in Hamilton at Copps
