TNA iMPACT! Opener:

We start off with footage of Jim Mitchell with Abyss telling Abyss that he will reveal the secret if he has to. We see footage of Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe fighting around the Impact Zone and the announcement that it will be an Iron Man Match on Sunday.

Backstage:

Kurt Angle enters Jim Cornette’s office and Cornette is on the phone. Cornette says that he has done everything for him over the last few weeks. He gave him a rematch against Samoa Joe and then he let them fight all over the Impact Zone last week. He tells Angle that he made sure that Samoa Joe would not be around the ring. He wants Kurt Angle at ringside when he asks for him. Angle wants to know why he would do anything for Cornette and Cornette asks Angle if he would do anything for the man who has a say in who gets an NWA World Title match. Angle says that it better be worth his while. Cornette sits back and he says that it is going to be worth his while.

In the arena:

We see the penalty box at ringside and there is a reserved sign on it. We will see the Voodoo Kin Mafia in San Antonio and Abyss will be facing Tomko.

Kurt Angle vs. Matt Bentley


The start:

Angle with a waist lock into a German suplex on Bentley. Angle follows that with a European uppercut that sends Bentley into the corner. Bentley with an Irish whip, but he charges into a boot. Kazarian grabs Angle’s foot when Devine gets on the apron and that allows Bentley to hit a clothesline and then Bentley chokes Angle. Bentley with a suplex and he gets a two count.

The Finish:

Bentley with a reverse chin lock but Angle gets to his feet. Angle with elbows but Bentley with a forearm to Angle’s neck. Angle with a back body drop and clothesline. Angle with the Three Rivers German suplex combination. Angle with a German suplex to Kazarian and then Angle with a German throw to Devine. Angle with an Angle slam to Bentley. The straps are down and Angle applies the ankle lock and Bentley taps.

Winner - Kurt Angle

Joe vs. Angle:


We to go a video package about Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle. It says that Joe had the longest undefeated streak in TNA. The voice over says that Kurt Angle has been a champion everywhere that he has wrestled. We hear Angle’s comments demanding a rematch and Joe’s response that there will be no third match. We see Joe finally accept the match. Three months of drama and three months of rage will culminate in 30 minutes of fury, agony, and pure unadulterated hatred.

Outside the arena:

We go outside the Impact Zone and Team 3D arrives in a military vehicle. Brother Ray says that want LAX. He calls them the enemy. He calls them a disgrace to their flag, country, and the NWA Tag Team Titles. Most of all, they are a disgrace to themselves and the United States of America. They declare war on the Latin American Exchange. He says that they are here for Konnan tonight and they will drag him down. He says that Hernandez and Homicide are next. They will not sleep until they beat the Latin American Exchange. Brother Ray tells Devon to ‘get the bazooka’. We go to commercial.

During the break:

We are back with footage during the break of Raven caning Matt Bentley for losing to Kurt Angle.

Backstage:

Jeremy Borash is in the back with Samoa Joe. Jeremy points out that Joe remained in the back during Angle’s match and Joe says that they made one request and that was not to get involved with Kurt’s match. Now the match is over and he has his agenda with Kurt Angle. He says that he will cripple Kurt Angle and make sure that Angle will not last thirty seconds on Sunday. Joe points out that there is fifty minutes left in the match so he better watch his back.


Six Man Tag Team Match
James Storm, Chris Sabin and AJ Styles vs.
Petey Williams, Christopher Daniels and Rhino


Before our next match, we see footage of James Storm hitting Chris Harris with a beer bottle as America’s Most Wanted ended. We also see footage from Turning Point of A.J. Styles using trickery to defeat Rhino as well as the other things that A.J. has done to Rhino since the pay per view.

The start:

All six men battle in the ring until Sabin and Rhino remain in the ring. Daniels with an Arabian press to Storm on the floor. Sabin with a back kick, but he charges into a clothesline from Rhino. Williams tags in and he chops Sabin. Williams with a rana to Sabin followed by an arm bar and Rhino is tagged back in. Sabin backs Rhino into the corner, but Rhino fights his way out until A.J. hits a clothesline from the apron.

Mid-match notes:


Styles is tagged in and he gets a near fall. Styles with a kick to Rhino’s head followed by a punch. Rhino punches back, but Styles with a rake of the eyes. Rhino with an Irish whip, but he charges into a boot. Styles runs at Rhino, but Rhino hits a spinebuster and both men are down. Storm and Daniels tag in and Daniels with a clothesline to Storm followed by back elbows to Sabin and Storm. Daniels with an STO to Storm and a Death Valley Driver to Sabin. Daniels puts Storm in the Koji Clutch. Sabin breaks up the hold. Williams with a rana to Sabin followed by a slingshot rana on the floor. Styles with a clothesline to Williams on the floor.

The Finish:

Storm punches Daniels in the corner, but he turns around into a GORE. Styles with a springboard forearm to Rhino. Styles kicks Daniels, but Daniels with a back elbow and back body drop to Styles. Daniels charges into a boot. Styles tries for an Asai Moonsault and Styles goes down and appears to hurt his knee. Daniels tries to work on Styles, but Styles with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winners - James Storm, Chris Sabin and AJ Styles

The Aftermath:

After the match, Rhino is in the ring and he stares down A.J. Styles. Styles goes to the back, but Rhino chases after him.


Backstage:

Jeremy Borash is in the back and he is with James Mitchell. Jeremy points out that he has asked for the time to talk to Abyss. Jim Mitchell says that for the first time in eighteen months he stands alone without his monster. He does not know where Abyss is. He does know that the man he made into the NWA World Champion is no longer here. He says that Abyss has backed him into a corner, and he is going to make an ultimatum. He tells Abyss that he will tell everyone the secret if he does not show his loyalty. Mitchell tells Abyss that he is the only man that he can trust. Mitchell tells Abyss to think about what he said. Abyss makes the decision or Mitchell will spill the beans. He tells Abyss to come home. We go to commercial.

Paparazzi Championship Series:

We are back for the next event in the Paparazzi Championship Series and it is Texas Hold ‘Em. Sonjay says that he has never played and Nash says that means that Sonjay is at a disadvantage. Shelley asks Sonjay if he has been living under a rock or in India. Shelley asks Nash not to tell everyone what cards he has. They go to a single card to determine who will end up tied with Austin Starr. Senshi gets a king, but Alex Shelley gets an ace. Nash says that Shelley and Starr will have a ten minute match at Final Resolution to determine the winner of the PCS. The winner of the match wins the PCS. If there is no winner, it will go to the judges. Starr and Shelley want to know who the judges are going to be, and Nash tells them to let him worry about the judges. Nash winks for the camera. The final standings are: 1) Austin Starr 20 points; 1) Alex Shelley 20 points; 3) Jay Lethal 18 points; 4) Senshi 17 points; 5) Sonjay Dutt 15 points.

Earlier Today:

Jeremy Borash had a chance to interview Chris Harris earlier. Jeremy asks Chris about the last four weeks and how it has been a trying time. Jeremy asks for an update on Chris’s eye. Chris says that he has a risk of losing his vision. As an athlete, he wonders if he will return to the ring. He does not know if he will ever return to the ring. Jeremy wants to know how Chris is doing emotionally. Harris says that he never believed that Storm would do that. He says that he is still hurt and confused over this. He does not know what is going through Storm’s mind. James Storm was not just a friend, he was a brother. They will never be able to look back at what America’s Most Wanted did together. He says that he never wanted America’s Most Wanted to end like this.

In the arena:


We return to the Impact Zone and we see Team 3D come to the ring while Konnan is lying on the ground writhing in pain. Homicide has to be held back while him and Hernandez check on Konnan. Brother Ray tells Homicide and Hernandez that since they took out Brother Runt, they took out Konnan. He says that LAX are in for a war that they will not be able to handle. At Final Resolution, they are not just fighting Brother Ray and Brother Devon, they are fighting everyone. Brother Devon testifies as we go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Jeremy Borash is in the interview area waiting for Team 3D to arrive in the Impact Zone. Eric Young arrives in the interview area. Jeremy wants to know if Eric’s friend ‘got the protection’ they talked about. Eric says that his friend is taking medication every day. Jeremy asks if Eric’s friend is feeling okay. Eric says that his friend is okay, but he is feeling a bit tender in the pectoral region. Team 3D arrive and they make Eric leave. Brother Ray says that it has been one hell of a night so far. He wants to know if LAX knows who they are screwing with. It is one down, two to go. Konnan will be gone for a long time. He says that Hernandez and Homicide are shaking in their boots because they know that they are the only thing standing between Team 3D and wrestling history. Brother Ray says that they are coming with guns a blazing, bazookas firing, and tables breaking. He says that LAX is dead. Brother Devon testifies again.

VKM:

We go to the Voodoo Kin Mafia’s visit at the Alamo. BG wants to know if the shuttle they are on will take them to the Alamo and Kip says that it will. They get off the shuttle bus, and they are at Alamo rent-a-car. BG asks Kip why would Michael rent a car if he lives there. They arrive at the Alamo and they walk around looking for Michael. He says that there is one thing left to do and that is declare victory.

In the arena:

Christian Cage and Tomko come to the ring for Tomko’s match and Christian has a mic. Jim Cornette is in the ring and he has a special announcement. He reminds Christian that Tomko is barred from ringside at Final Resolution. In order for things to be fair for Tomko’s match tonight, Christian will be placed in the penalty box. Christian says that there is not one person in the Impact Zone who wants him in the penalty box. Christian wonders who will put him in the penalty box. Cornette tells Christian that if he does not go along with this, he will lose his title match on Sunday. Cornette says that he was never going to put anyone in the penalty box and he has someone who owes him a favor. Christian wonders who it is and Kurt Angle comes to the ring. Christian leaves the ring and Angle makes sure that Christian gets in the penalty box and it is locked. We go to commercial.


Non Title Match
Tomko vs. Abyss (c)


We are back and Jim Mitchell comes out of the Chute of Heelish Impact alone, but Abyss emerges from the Chute of Facial Impact.

The start:

Tomko attacks Abyss from behind and kicks him while Kurt Angle watches at ringside. Tomko punches Abyss and then he kicks Abyss. Abyss with a clothesline and then he clotheslines Tomko over the top rope to the floor. Tomko pulls Abyss out of the ring but Abyss punches Tomko and slams his head into the ring apron and ring steps. Abyss punches Tomko and then he tries to punch Tomko, but Tomko moves and Abyss punches the ring post.

Mid-match notes:

Tomko with a big boot and kick before Abyss is rolled back into the ring. Abyss punches Tomko but Tomko responds with a rake of the eyes and a forearm shot. Tomko sets for the big boot, but he gets grabbed by Abyss. Tomko gets out of the hold with an elbow. Abyss hits the choke slam, but he can only get a two count. Abyss punches Tomko, but he runs into a clothesline. Tomko gets a chair but the referee takes it. Abyss kicks the chair into Tomko’s face, but he can only get a two count.


The Finish:

From out of nowhere, Samoa Joe attacks Kurt Angle and sends Angle into the penalty box and announce table. Joe tries to choke Angle, but Angle avoids it and he puts Joe in the ankle lock. Joe sends Angle into the announce table. Christian is able to get the key to the penalty box and he is able to escape. Tomko charges into a Black Hole Slam, but Christian breaks up the cover.

Winner by disqualification, the NWA Heavyweight Champion, Abyss

The Aftermath:

Christian chokes Abyss with the chair while Tomko continues to work over Abyss. At ringside, security tries to separate Joe and Angle. The lights go out and Sting appears in the ring. Sting hits Tomko with the bat. Christian leaves the ring and so does Tomko. Abyss and Sting are together in the ring. Abyss holds up Sting’s arm and then he gives Abyss Shock Treatment as Mitchell signals for Doomsday. Abyss is given the title belt by Jim Mitchell as we go to credits.
