From: Orlando, Florida
Report by: Richard Trionfo of PWInsider.com

Tonight’s episode of Impact starts an important and busy week for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. On Sunday, we have the Against All Odds pay per view. Monday night will be the next set of television tapings as well as the ‘This is TNA’ two hour special that will be broadcast during the regular Raw time slot due to the pre-emption from the Westminster Dog Show. What will happen in the final show before the pay per view? Will we find out who Christian Cage’s consultant’s identity? Will Sting accept the challenge to be a part of the Prison Yard Match (despite the fact that the match is already announced on the Against All Odds page)? How will Team 3D respond to LAX’s attack on Brother Ray’s uncle last week in New York? Will any new matches be announced for the pay per view? Now that Eric Young has the girl, what will he do next? Is it all a trap to embarrass Eric? Will Eric get Bob Backlund to explain the ‘birds and bees’ to him?

We start off with a look back at Samoa Joe being told by Kurt Angle that he is a liar, and Joe and Angle fighting. We see Joe battle with Christian only to see A.J. Styles help Christian. We also see James Mitchell make the challenge for the Prison Yard Match. We also see Sting above the ring wearing Abyss’s mask.

We are live on tape from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Mike ‘TNA’ Tenay and Don ‘you have got to be kidding me’ West.

Match Number One: Abyss (with James Mitchell) versus Chase Stevens
Abyss attacks Stevens before the bell rings and then he punches Stevens in the corner before scaring the referee away. Abyss puts Stevens on the top turnbuckle, but Stevens with a punch and leaps over Abyss only to come off the ropes and get a Black Hole Slam for the three count.
Winner: Abyss

After the match, Andy Douglas comes to the ring to check on Chase Stevens. Abyss hits Shock Treatment on Douglas. Shane Douglas comes to the ring, but security stops him before he tries to take any of Chase Stevens’s gear from him.

We go to the video screen where we see Sting wearing his face paint and Abyss’s mask. Sting says that he has been through a few fires. He tells Jim Mitchell that he has had a blow torch on him for the last twenty years. Not only does he accept Mitchell’s challenge, but he welcomes it. He tells Abyss that he has been hiding behind his mask for the last four years and it is time for him to face the world. It is also time for him to face Sting. Sting guarantees that Jim Mitchell will meet the end times. Sting tells Abyss that when they meet tonight, he will know that they are coming to the end of this series.

We go to Don and Mike at the announce table. Mike announces that the main event will be A.J. Styles and Christian Cage versus Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. Don wonders if Sting and Abyss will meet face-to-face tonight. We then see the results of the text messaging from last week asking the fans who they thought was Christian’s consultant. Thirty percent of the people thought it is Bill Goldberg; twenty-six percent thought it was Brock Lesnar; ten percent thought it was Samoa Joe; and thirty-four percent thought it was none of the above.

Leticia is with Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle in the interview area. Joe interrupts Leticia and he tells Angle that for three weeks Angle has been calling him a liar, but Joe is not a liar. For as much as they do not like each other, he has an investment with Kurt Angle. He will be the unofficial enforcer to neutralize Tomko. It is up to Angle to do the rest. Joe says that tonight he will have Angle’s back and it is in Angle’s best interest to have Joe’s back. Angle asks Joe if he hates him. Kurt says that he knows they are not the best of friends and he knows that Joe is not the consultant. He knows that Joe has an agenda to be the NWA World Champion. Angle tells Joe that when he wins the title on Sunday, Joe will get his title shot as long as everything goes the right way tonight. Angle addresses Christian and he wants to see what his consultant has taught him. He challenges Christian to bring his consultant to the ring tonight so he can kick both of their asses. We go to commercial.

We are back and we see Tomko near the entrance to the Impact Zone and he is still wearing his ‘Pump’ t-shirt. This week he has a lead pipe and he bangs it against the rails. Christian stops him and asks if it is the wolverine mating call. Tomko says that he has had enough dealing with this guy. He says that it is worse than dealing with Christian. Christian says that there is no doubt that Tomko is the toughest son of a bitch. After Against All Odds, it will be back to the way it has always been. He tells Tomko to take the night off.

We see footage from Brother Devon’s promo from last week along with the footage of LAX’s attack on Brother Ray’s uncle.

We go to the ring and Team 3D is in the ring and Brother Ray is on the mic. He says that their father’s last name is ‘Dudley’, but a lot do not know that his mother’s last name is Lamonica. That makes him half angry redneck and half pissed off Italian. He tells LAX that they went after his family and his closest uncle in the world. He went to his family’s business in New York City and beat him so bad that the doctors do not know if he will ever be the same again. He says that they have a decision to make. Do they chase LAX for the NWA World Titles that they love so much or do they go for revenge. After sitting down with his brother and discussing things, they choose revenge. He says that LAX pissed off his family, his brother, and himself. He says that they pissed off the wrong Italian. At Against All Odds, they are going to do it Italian style. It will be a Little Italy Street Fight. He will have LAX’s blood on his hands. He will do things the way that the Mafia does things in New York. He will beat them through the strip clubs, the café, and the back alley for the vultures to pick at them and for the dogs to piss on them. When you mess with the family, someone’s going to get whacked.

LAX’s music plays and Moody Jack wheels Konnan out of the Chute of Heelish Impact. Konnan gets on the mic and he tells everyone in the Impact Zone that they can go straight to hell. He tells Brother Ray to save his hot air for his blow up dolls. He says that LAX is his family. Brother Ray tells Konnan to walk to the ring to say that, but maybe he cannot walk because him and Devon beat him up already. Konnan says that he has something up his sleeve for Brother Ray. He tells Brother Ray that his uncle can thank him for what happened. Konnan says that if it is a fight they want, it is a war that they are about to get. They accept the street fight because they rule the streets.

Brother Runt comes out and he is saying something as he walks to the ring. Brother Ray tells him to go back to the bar and get out of their business. While Brother Runt goes to the back, Brother Ray and Brother Devon are attacked by Homicide and Hernandez. Homicide punches Devon while Hernandez works over Ray. Hernandez with a spinebuster to Brother Ray. Homicide and Hernandez with splashes into the corner and then Hernandez hits Devon with a board that breaks over Devon’s head. Hernandez hits Brother Ray with a trash can. Homicide chokes Brother Ray with a hanger while Hernandez puts Brother Ray’s arm between the ring steps and apron while he hits the steps with a chair.

Leticia is in the back with Christy Hemme and she tells Christy that she made everyone proud for getting her match at Against All Odds. She asks Christy how she feels about not knowing her opponent. Christy says that it does not matter because she got the opportunity. She is going to prove that she is part of this company. Kip and BG stop by to interrupt the interview. Kip says that he is going make it up to Christy in a good way. He pulls out some money and asks how much the lap dance is. BG tells Kip that if he is going to belittle women on the show that his wife and children watch, he will do it without him. Kip tells BG to leave because he is not going to like it. We go to commercial.

We are back with a video package of the A.J. Styles/Rhino feud and the deception that has been seen. This will be a Motor City Chain Match where there is no cut and run. The men will be connected by a fifteen foot long chain. A key will be hung from one pole. Another pole will have Rhino’s weapon of choice. The only way to escape is to survive.

Jeremy Borash is in the back with A.J. Styles to talk about the main event. Styles says that it is about time that Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle made it to his level. He talks about how everyone is talking about who is the best between Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle, and then he asks who cares about that. He talks about how everyone talks about what Kurt Angle did at 26, but so did he. A.J. points out that he was a two time triple crown champion while Angle had one gold medal. He says that Joe takes big pride in being Samoan. Styles says ‘whoopdi-do’ to that and asks if that means that he has a hard head and junk in the trunk. Styles asks Jeremy if he heard of the bumblebee analogy. He says that scientists wonder how a bumblebee can fly because it is a fat little bug with short wings. That is what they say about him. He can do things that nobody else can do. He says that makes him Phenomenal. He says that he has not forgotten about Rhino since he wanted the chain match. He says that it is ridiculous, but the result will be the same.

Christian stops by and he says that he likes A.J.’s style. He also likes A.J.’s hood and his chain. He tells A.J. to give Rhino a couple shots for him. Christian says that four of the biggest stars will be in the ring, but only one champion. Christian says that the ‘teeth guards’ that he wears have been cutting off the circulation in his brain. He says that Angle is only supporting cast around here. The world finally figured out that Joe is not his consultant. He does have a consultant. He wonders what Samoa Joe could consult him about. Can he consult him about how to lose to Kurt Angle since he lost to Angle twice? Christian says that he does not care what people say about him because he is smart. Christian tells Joe that when he is in the ring with Christian Cage and A.J. Styles and he finds himself in trouble and extends his hand to tag in the man who beat him twice to remember that.

Christian and A.J. leave and Bob Backlund stops by and he stares at Borash.

We see footage from last month when Jacqueline attacked Gail Kim last month. Then we see the battles between Jacqueline and Gail over the last few weeks.

Match Number Two: Chris Sabin, Austin Starr, and James Storm (with Jacqueline) versus Senshi, Jerry Lynn, and Rhino
Before Lynn and Storm lock up, we see Serotonin watching from the bleachers. Storm misses a punch in the corner but Lynn with a punch. Lynn with a cross body for a near fall. Sabin pulls Lynn down as he comes off the ropes and then Storm with a side slam. Storm puts on his hat and hits a knee drop. Starr with the cover as Storm goes to the apron. Starr slams Lynn’s head into the turnbuckle and then he punches Lynn, but Lynn punches back and gets the advantage. Starr with an STO followed by a pendulum elbow attempt, but Lynn moves. Senshi is tagged in and he chops Starr. Senshi with a running forearm to Starr and a drop kick that sends Sabin into the turnbuckles. Senshi with a springboard spin kick to Starr, but Sabin attacks Senshi from behind. Rhino sends Sabin over the top rope to the floor. Senshi goes up top, but Storm crotches Senshi on the top rope. Starr with a brainbuster for the three count.

It is time for the latest Paparazzi Productions video. We go to the Nash Clinic where they specialize in Dysfunctional Wrestler Syndrome. Nash is meeting with Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal. He says that they need a persona makeover extreme as well as a circumcision. He asks Lethal and Dutt if they heard of someone, and they do not know who that is. Nash pulls out a Samoa Joe doll and he says that he turned that man into Samoa Joe. Nash says that he is responsible for Joe and making the doll. He asks if they heard of another man and they say that they never heard of him. Nash says that he is now known as Sting. Nash says that not only will they be a success if they listen to him, but they will also get a doll to sell in merchandise Lethal and Dutt want to know if Nash will make them as big as Joe and Sting. Nash says that proof is in the doll/pudding. Nash says that it might be a lot of work, but he can help them both. We go to commercial.

We are back and Jeremy Borash tells us that Eric Young and Ms. Brooks are around the corner from where he is standing. We see them by the copy machine and Eric is not wearing a shirt and Traci is in a bra. Jeremy asks Eric how he is doing. Traci says that she is just thanking Eric for standing up for her against big bad Robert Roode. She wants to show Eric how happy she is. She asks Eric if he remembers where they are going next Saturday and if he got the stuff she asked for. She thanks Jeremy for taking Eric to get the stuff. Traci tells Eric that he signed the deal so now he is going to seal the deal. She kisses Eric and leaves. Jeremy asks Eric if he is wants to do it. Eric says that Traci loves him.

Sting comes to the ring and the ringside area is set up for the Prison Yard Match. Sting talks about the prison yard match and points to the cage that is being lowered to the ring. He says that it represents lust, greed, and deception. He says that this is what he calls a living hell. This is what he calls storming the gates of hell. Sting pulls away the cover to the cage and James Mitchell is inside. He says that on Sunday night, it will be the last time that he sees James Mitchell. Abyss comes to the ring and Sting meets him on the floor as they battle. Sting gets a chair and he hits Sting in the back and in the head with the chair. Abyss chokes Sting and then James Mitchell chokes Sting with his belt. Abyss hits Sting in the head with the chair and Sting goes down. Abyss releases James Mitchell from the cage.

We go to a video package for Christopher Daniels. It has been said that the beginning of wisdom is found in doubting. By doubting we comes to the question and by seeking, we come to the truth. Daniels says that he has doubted himself in the past, but now it is over as he seeks the truth.

We are back with a movie poster for Rocky VII starring Ron Killings ‘featuring Rocky Blackboa’.

In three days, they will bring it to Lance Hoyt and Team Eckstein. A.J. says that he is tired of being blamed for things and he did nothing wrong. Lance pulled Dale Torborg into the ring so he had to hit Lance Hoyt twice with a chair. He wonders where David Eckstein has been the last few weeks. Lance Hoyt stops by and Dale wants to know if Lance wants some more. From out of nowhere, Johnny Damon hits Dale Torborg in the back with a chair.
