Orlando, Florida
Report By: Richard Trionfo of PWInsider.com
TNA iMPACT! Opener:
We begin this week’s show with Kurt Angle’s comments about his team for the Lethal Lockdown match. Then we hear A.J. Styles’s comments about having to wrestle Sting and Abyss. We go to highlights of the pairing of Sting and Abyss only to see Abyss leave Sting behind when he saw James Mitchell with a mysterious woman. We also saw Scott Steiner join Team Cage and help Styles and Cage beat down Sting at the end of their match.
Paparazzi Productions:
We go to the latest edition of Paparazzi Productions and it is ‘My Lunch with Sting’ as Sting asks James Mitchell to explain the scars on Chris’s body. He wonders if it was enough for Chris to watch his dad abuse his mom or for his mom to see Chris get abused by his father. Mitchell wonders if the abuse justifies his mother putting three bullets in her husband’s back the minute he turns around. Sting wonders what Mitchell would do and then he says that she was trying to protect herself and Chris. Mitchell says that she was and in turn, he protected her and in turn Chris protected her and did what any son would do. He watches his mother shoot his father not once but three times and then the genius that he is, he takes the gun and wipes her prints from the gun and he puts his paws all over it and takes the rap for it. That moron did six years of hard time in prison for a crime he did not commit. Mitchell says that Abyss is going to do what he tells him when he tells him or Mitchell says that he will go to the authorities and tell them what his mother did so she can go to jail. He tells Sting to take his self-righteous routine and shove it up his ass. Mitchell says that he has a meeting with Christian and tells Sting to pick up the check because it is the least that he can do.
