Video recap of the 'Sacrifice Scandal'.
Kurt Angle comes to the ring sporting the new TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He says in less than eight months he did what he said he was going to do. Before this he won every title there was to win, except for this prestigious title. Now he stands here above the rest as the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Lights out in the iMPACT! Zone, Sting makes his way to the ring.
He admits that he tapped out, the only thing is that he had Christian Cage covered for a 1-2-3. He doesn't know which occurred first, but for Kurt to take the title and march into the back is a little odd to him. There's a big fat question mark over Kurt and the title. Cue Christian Cage. Cage says that they always talk about doing the right thing, and now he prides himself on it as well.
They both think they have a legitimate claim as being champion. However, the TNA Rulebook states; That if there are any discrepancies during a title match, the title stays with the current TNA Heavyweight Champion. So the right thing to do is for Cage to come down to the ring, step through the ropes and strap the belt around the real champion.
Cornette comes down and says that if he thinks he's screwed him up until now, he better stay tuned, because it's going to get better. There was a lot of things uncertain about Sacrifice, but Christian was flat on his back. He is not the TNA Heavyweight Champion. He has respect for Sting and for him staying with the pin even though Kurt had him in the ankle lock. He is not the champion. The belt signifies the best in the company. It's not Christian's, it's not Sting's and it's not Kurt's either.
He wants a franchise ball player in TNA, someone who stands out, undisputed as the man. If they aren't hungry enough to deliver, then maybe they need to bring in some new blood into this mix. Maybe they need to advance the equation. He sees guys that are hungry and want to go to the top. Rhino and Samoa Joe mow down the competition. There is not going to be a glass ceiling in TNA like in other wrestling organizations.
Christian interrupts and says everybody he's named he's already beaten. Cornette says he shouldn't have a problem beating them again. Cornette's going to take these three, plus the two he mentioned and five more to have five qualifying matches to see who will go into King of the Mountain at Slammiversary. The winner of the King of the Mountain will be the top dog and be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Backstage JB is talking with Christopher Daniels. JB says that last night Rhino busted Christopher Daniels wide open and now Daniels has issues an open invitational First Blood Match. JB wants him to explain the logic in this. Daniels says there is no logic, it's actions and consequence. Sting knows a lot about consequence. Daniels laughs and walks away.

Backstage JB is with Nash. Nash says he's not here to talk, but he's interrupted by Dutt. Dutt says he's sorry and they need to talk. It was a big title match, the adrenaline was pumping and he doesn't know what emotions got hold of him. Nash has done a lot for him and he's like a father to him. They shake hands and Nash says next time he won't be so forgiving.

Raven with a chair, fakes out Daniels and catches him in the thigh. Shot to the back, Raven goes for a shot to the head but misses.
Daniels off the ropes, STO takes Raven down. Daniels sets up the chair and sits in it for a second then slams Raven's head into it multiple times. Chair laid flat, Raven blocks the slam, STO takes Daniels down onto the chair. Raven busts the Kendo stick open and tries to drive the jagged edge into Daniels' forehead. Low blow by Daniels. Busted kendo stick to Raven's head, Daniels wins.
Post-match Daniels shakes his head and removes the bandage. Over to Raven he delivers a series of headbuts to Raven in order to bust himself open. Serotonin comes into the ring, Kaz and Raven go nose to nose, Kaz tells him to go down. Raven drops and when Kaz goes to swing, Havoc and Martyr step in the way. Kaz and Raven go nose to nose once more and Raven sends Kaz to the back. In doing so, Kaz mocks Raven's pose.
Winner : Christopher Daniels
Backstage JB is with Sting. Sting says he's not going anywhere, he's been around the block and if he has to qualify to do it, he'll qualify. Daniels interrupts and asks Sting if he saw what happened out there. He's following the path. Sting asks him what he's talking about. He tells him to go one way and he goes the other way. Daniels says he's committed and he was once lost, but now it seems Sting is lost.
Commercial.
Eric Young is in the ring and he says that his good friend Jeff Jarrett taught him that he has to stand up for himself and do what you think is right. He has to thank Jeff, but first and foremost he has to thank the fans. They stood up for what they believed in, him. He stands in front of them tonight a free man. Free at last, free at last, thank your lucky stars he's free at last.
Roode comes to the ring and asks if Eric said he was a free man. He can't blame him, he did physically put his hands on Roode a few weeks ago. He could take away professional wrestling for Eric breaking the contract. Or he could stand here and tell Eric he's fired. Luckily for Eric the rules have changed. He's still under contract which means Roode still owns him. Cornette threatened to sue him, but if he was going to, he would have done it a long time ago.
Roode's not going to take away professional wrestling, nor is he going to fire him. He's going to advise him to get a good attorney because Roode is going to sue him for everything Eric has. He asks Eric how it feels. Eric says he feels the same about this as everybody else does, he wipes his ass with it and gives it back to Roode. Roode with a mount and begins a ground and pound on Eric.
Eric with a Thesz Press and mounts his own offense. Ms. Brooks rakes the eyes of Eric, Eric turns around and Roode catches him from behind. Multiple boots to Eric from Roode and Ms. Brooks.
