TNA iMPACT! Opener:


We see the men who have the cases from the Feast or Fired Match arriving at the Impact Zone. Who gets the title matches, who gets fired? When will we find out?

LAX vs. Black Reign and Rellik

The start:


Black Reign and Rellik attack Homicide and Hernandez as the match starts. Hernandez tries for a cross body but Black Reign ducks down. In the ring Rellik misses an elbow and Homicide takes Rellik down. Hernandez with a splash into the corner followed by a clothesline from Homicide. Homicide with a kick but Rellik and Black Reign hit their version of a Hart Attack and Black Reign punches Homicide. Black Reign with the patented Dustin Rhodes drop down uppercut and Rellik is tagged in.

Mid-match notes:

Rellik with a running boot to Homicide for a two count. Rellik knocks Hernandez off the apron. Black Reign pulls Homicide down and then pull Homicide into the ring post. Black Reign tags back in and punches Homicide. Homicide with a flying back elbow after he avoids a few clotheslines from Black Reign.

The Finish:

Hernandez and Rellik are tagged in and Hernandez with a clothesline and flying shoulder tackle. Hernandez with a splash into the corner followed by a spinebuster to Rellik. Homicide with an Ace Cutter for a two count on Rellik. Hernandez and Black Reign battle outside the ring. Rellik hits the ring post when he misses a charge and Homicide gets the three count with a rollup.

Winners - LAX

The Aftermath:


After the match, Jimmy Rave and Lance Hoyt come to the ring and they attack Homicide and Hernandez. The masked member of LAX attacks Christy Hemme from behind. All six battle before Hoyt, Rave, and Hemme leave.

Backstage:

We go to Jim Cornette’s office and he is with Matt Morgan and Jeremy Borash. Jim Cornette says that we will find out what is in the cases tonight. Cornette says that Matt has the cases hidden in a safe place. Matt says that Crystal is watching the cases and Cornette is not happy. He wants them in a place where nobody can fiddle with them. Team 3D and Brother Benedict enter the office and Brother Ray says that Cornette has no balls as the head of the company. Just like the rest of the X Division, they lack balls. Brother Ray gives Cornette the belt back and tells them that if they want the belt to come to the ring and try to get it from them. Jay Lethal enters with the Motor City Machine Guns and he suggests that he earn the belt in a ladder match. Brother Ray tells Lethal that if he knew his history, he would take it back a level. Ray says that they are the kings of matches with tables, ladders, or chairs.

In the arena:

It is time for the moment you have been waiting for as Kurt Angle makes his first appearance of the night. He is joined by his Wife Karen, his new BFF A.J. Styles, and Tomko. We go to commercial.

Back on iMPACT:

We are back and Kurt Angle is ready to start talking. He addresses Christian and he is only going to say it once. Angle says that he made a mistake at Turning Point. They lost their matches because they were able to divide and conquer. Angle says that they both need each other. Kurt says that everyone in the ring are champions, but with Christian and Robert Roode; they can be a force that can never be beaten. Angle says that they have already made one mistake so it is time not to make another. Angle says that this is a one time offer and he gives Christian an hour to come out and meet him face to face to make this right.

Backstage:

Jeremy Borash is with Christian Cage, Robert Roode, and Traci Brooks. Christian wonders if Angle is begging or groveling. Roode says that if they unite they will be a powerhouse overnight. Christian wonders when Roode got the ability to speak when he wanted. Christian told Roode to follow him at Turning Point and it cost them the match. Christian wonders how many world titles Roode won; and then Roode says that he is not A.J. Christian says that A.J. is smarter. Christian says that he will be there.

Non Title Match
ODB vs. Gail Kim (c)

The start:


ODB attacks Gail before the bell rings. ODB works on Gail’s back and then she slams the champion. Gail with punches but ODB with a knee to Gail ODB with a hard Irish whip but Gail with forearms. Gail with a cross body but ODB catches Gail and hits a fallaway slam. ODB with a clothesline to Gail for a two count. Gail charges into an elbow and then ODB runs Gail into her crotch but Gail stops it and then tries for a rana from the top. ODB comes off the top but Gail is able to counter and both women are down. Gail with forearms but ODB misses with a clothesline.

The Finish:

Gail takes ODB down and hits a drop kick. Gail with a cross body from the turnbuckles for a two count. ODB with a knee to Gail. Gail with a wheelbarrow into a bulldog for a two count. Gail tries to get ODB up in a fireman’s carry but ODB throws Gail down to the mat. Gail works over ODB and the referee tries to pull Gail out of the corner. ODB hits Gail with the flask while the referee coincidentally missed it. ODB gets the cover.

Winner - ODB

The Aftermath:


After the match, Awesome Kong’s awesome music plays and she walks awesomely to the ring. ODB takes a drink and she leaves the ring. Awesome Kong enters the ring and she picks up Gail and tries for the sit out power bomb but Gail gets out of the hold. Gail and Kong battle in the ring. Security comes to the ring and they separate the women. Gail avoids security by holding up something shiny and she goes after Kong. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky come to the ring to help Gail Kim.

Backstage:

Crystal is in the back with the cases and Matt Morgan. Crystal runs through the contents of the cases with Matt and then we see Triple X enter the room and Daniels is arguing with Senshi. Daniels says that it was his plan that got them back together and his plan that got Senshi the case. Daniels tells Senshi to give him the case and Senshi tells Daniels to try to take it from him. Matt Morgan interrupts and he says that he smells money and a match brewing. Senshi wrestles Christopher Daniels and the winner gets the case. Elix Skipper interrupts and asks Matt if he sees that there are family issues that they are dealing with. Elix wants to be the guest referee. Matt says that when you are in his spot, you need to multitask. He says that the Daniels/Senshi match is next and he is pushing the six man tag match back. Crystal wonders if Matt should be making these decisions instead of Jim Cornette. Morgan says that Cornette will love this because he has the best interests of Jim Cornette and TNA. Morgan takes the case and we go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Jeremy Borash is in the hallway with Tomko. Jeremy wants Tomko’s comments about the Christian Cage/Kurt Angle spat. Tomko says that he has known Christian a long time and Christian is Christian. He will do what he wants to do. Jeremy wants Tomko’s take on this. Tomko says that Tomko’s take is that he is going to do what he wants to do.

Battle For Case Number Three
Referee: Elix Skipper
Christopher Daniels vs. Senshi


Before we get to the action in our next match, Mike lets us know that there is a third man in the booth for this match and it is Hermie Sadler.

The start:

They lock up and Daniels with an arm bar but Senshi reverses. Daniels sends Senshi to the mat but Senshi returns with an arm bar. We see a shot of the briefcase watching the match as we hear stuff going on in the ring. Daniels kicks Senshi off and then avoids a chop. Senshi with kicks to the chest and then to the head and Daniels falls to the mat. Senshi chokes Daniels in the corner and Skipper pulls Senshi off Daniels. Senshi tries to choke Daniels while Daniels is on the apron and Skipper has Senshi release the hold as Daniels goes to the floor. Daniels takes Senshi down with a double sledge and then he chokes Senshi.

Mid-match notes:

In the middle of this important match, we cut to a split screen of a limo arriving and Eric Young emerges from the driver’s seat and he shows us that he is driving Booker T, Sharmell, Kevin Nash, Samoa Joe, and Frankie Kazarian. Back to the live on tape action and Daniels hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. We have to go to commercial. We are back and Daniels charges into an elbow and then Senshi follows that with a series of clotheslines. Senshi misses a clothesline but he connects with a rolling kick and then he hits a springboard spin kick for a near fall.

The Finish:

Daniels with a jawbreaker but he misses a knee into the corner. Senshi with a running drop kick and then Senshi goes up top for the double stomp but Daniels moves out of the way. Senshi tries for the Tidal Crush but Daniels pulls Skipper into the way and Senshi stops short. Daniels pushes Skipper out of the way and then he connects with a thumb to the eyes and then he hits the Angel’s Wings for the three count.

Winner - Christopher Daniels

Backstage:


We go to the back with Crystal. We see the Voodoo Kin Mafia and Roxxi Laveaux in the Hall of Briefcases and BG wants to talk to Matt Morgan. BG wants Matt to settle something. BG wants to know if the case he possesses is for the tag titles, can he choose his partner. Matt says that he can choose whoever he wants. BG wonders if Kip should be his partner and they have a lot to discuss. Kip says that he is his partner. BG takes his case from its perch in the Hall of Briefcases and Roxxi has a vision and says that it is the wrong case. BG says that his name is on it. Roxxi says that the case is cursed. BG says that the only thing that is cursed is his current company. Kip takes offense to that and follows BG out of the Hall of Briefcases. We go to commercial.

James Mitchell:

We are back and we go to the Impact Sit Down Interview Suite where Mike Tenay had a chance to talk to James Mitchell. Mike wants to be able to understand the current situation so he asks Mitchell to take us to the beginning. James says that he will take us back to the day he was born. He had an incredible father. He tried to teach him culture and educate him. He gave him all of the tools, but the problem was Chris’s mother. Mike says that the relationship started when Chris was released from prison so he wants to know how Mitchell knows so much about Chris. Mitchell says that he has done extensive research into his background.

Backstage:

We return to the back where Crystal is with Petey Williams and Matt Morgan in the Hall of Halliburton. Crystal asks Petey if he is hoping that he has the X Division Title Match briefcase. Petey says that Turning Point was a great night for Maple Leaf Muscle Petey Williams. Crystal wonders what Petey means by ‘Maple Leaf Muscle’ and Petey gets offended and claims that Crystal has her nose up Kurt Angle’s rear end then she would have known. He says that he has had some success in bodybuilding. Petey says that one of the judges was Arnold himself and Petey impersonates Schwarzenegger. Petey says that he has already been the X Division champion so he wants a shot at the TNA Heavyweight Title. Matt says that is an example of people grabbing for the brass ring. Matt says that Petey is a young guy with a bright future. Petey asks Matt if he can have his case. We go to commercial.

In the arena:

We are back and Kurt Angle, his Wife Karen, his BFF A.J. Styles, and his big tattooed guy Tomko are in the ring with him. Kurt wants to know if Christian is with him or against him. Christian’s music plays and he comes to the ring with Robert Please don’t call me Bobby Roode and Traci Brooks. Roode has the mic and he tells Kurt that he wants to make it short and sweet. As a businessman, he understands that there is power in numbers. Roode accepts Kurt Angle’s offer to unite. Christian takes the mic from Roode and he tells Bobby that is where they are different. Christian says that Roode needs those three while he does not. Christian comments on how Angle suddenly wants to be his friend, teammate, and buddy. Christian tells Angle that you need to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Christian knows that Angle is a conniving son of a bitch. He says that if Angle knows that Christian is on his team, he is not opposing him. Christian says that he is the biggest threat to Angle’s title. Christian says that he is the real champion. Christian addresses Tomko next and says that Tomko makes him sick to his stomach. He tells Tomko not to look at him and when Tomko looks away, he tells Tomko to look at him when he is talking to him. Christian reminds Tomko that he was a prison guard until he found him and made him a ton of money. With him, Tomko is a somebody but without him, Tomko is a nobody. Christian then addresses A.J. and says that he saw the most potential in him inside the ring. Outside the ring, he was lacking substance. A.J. could barely formulate two sentences until he came to Christian. He made A.J. a star and molded him in his image. A.J. said that Christian was like a father to him, but if he was A.J.’s father, he would disown him. Christian says that all of them need him to be somebody. Karen Angle says something but Christian tells her to shut up and do what she does best and stand behind a man. Christian says that if they want him to be a part of the team, he will be the leader. Christian wants to know if Angle is ready to admit that he is nowhere near the man that Christian Cage is. Christian offers his hand and Kurt Angle shakes it. Everyone else shakes Christian’s hand until he gets to A.J., who hugs Christian. Samoa Joe’s music plays and he comes into the Impact Zone from the Chute of Facial Impact and he is not alone. He is followed by Booker T with Sharmell, Frankie Kazarian, Eric Young, and Kevin Nash. Joe says that it appears that there is one happy dysfunctional family. Since everyone is united, why not try to get some revenge for their losses and meet in a ten man tag at Final Resolution. We have a meeting of the minds in the ring, but Karen takes the mic and suggests that instead of waiting, why not do it tonight. Karen tells Booker to send his crazy, stalking, tramp wife of his to get this started. Karen says that she knows the real reason why she is here. Sharmell tells Karen to get one thing straight. If this is about past issues, it was Karen’s perverted husband who wanted to put his hands on her. Sharmell tells Karen to be worried about her. Sharmell says that she is going to walk to the ring and commence whooping her ass. Sharmell and Karen meet on the Ramp of Facial Impact and it is time for a catfight. Booker and Kurt pull their wives away and...

Backstage:

We go to the back where Crystal is with Team 3D and Brother Mata Hari Johnny Devine. Crystal talks about how Jay Lethal stepped up and challenged them to a ladder match for possession of the X Division Title. Ray mimics Crystal and tells her to shut up. Ray comments about whether Jay Lethal really ‘manned up’. Ray tells Lethal that it was time that he grew some balls. Ray admits to stealing the title belt and tells Lethal to get his ‘boyfriends’ the Motor City Machine Guns to come after them. Ray says what they are going to do tonight and if they don’t like it, too bad. We go to commercial.

Ladder Match For Possession Of X Title Belt
Team 3D and Johnny Devine vs. Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machineguns


Before Jay Lethal and the Motor City Machine Guns come to the ring, we go to the back where Crystal is with Scott Steiner and Matt Morgan. Crystal asks Scott what he thinks is inside his case and Scott calls her Caroline and asks if she is impressed with him. Scott says that the Heavyweight Title Match is in the case. When he wins the title, ratings are going through the roof. Scott leaves with the case. Crystal points out that there are no cases in the Fortress of Briefcases. Matt does not see a problem with that scenario. Crystal says that she thought Jim Cornette wanted him to guard the cases. Matt says that he put the cases in the hands of the people who won them.

The start:

The match begins and all six men battle in the ring with Lethal going after Devine and clotheslining him over the top rope to the floor while Sabin battles with Devon and Ray battles with Shelley. Lethal with a pescado onto Devine while Shelley and Sabin hit stereo enzuigiris on Team 3D and they leave the ring. Shelley and Sabin with suicide dives onto Team 3D. All six men now battle outside the ring. Lethal Irish whips Devine into the guardrail and Lethal brings the ladder into the ring while everyone else fights on the floor. Devine pulls Lethal off the ladder and then he stomps Lethal in the chest.

Mid-match notes:

Devine climbs the ladder but Sabin pulls Devine off the ladder. Sabin climbs the ladder and Devine gets Sabin on his shoulders and it appears that he is going to hit an electric chair drop but Sabin hits a reverse hurricanrana. Sabin climbs the ladder again and Devon gets Sabin on his shoulders and he hits the electric chair drop. Devon has started to climb the ladder but Shelley takes Devon down with a power bomb and we go to commercial. We are back and Ray points to the belt and climbs the ladder. He is stopped by Lethal who punches Ray. Ray with a head butt. Ray superplexes Lethal off the ladder. Devine gets to the ladder and he has the belt but Shelley hits him and Devine kicks Shelley. They fight on the ladder and Shelley with a jawbreaker from the ladder. Devon hits Shelley with a slam from an inverted suplex position. Devon adjusts the ladder before he climbs it one more time. Sabin hits a springboard clothesline that takes Devon off the ladder. Sabin and Shelley try for stereo pescados but Team 3D move out of the way.

The Finish:

Devine and Lethal battle again on top of the ladder and the belt is taken off the belt holder/trapeze. Lethal and Devine continue to fight on top of the ladder while Devon distracts the referee. Lethal knocks Devine off the ladder and Lethal hits the mat with the title belt but Lethal is hit by Ray with the kendo stick while the referee is still distracted. Ray gives the belt to Johnny Devine and the referee calls for the bell.

Winners - Team 3D and Johnny Devine

The Aftermath:


While Team 3D celebrates in the ring, we get a shot of So Cal Valizabeth’s disdain for the result of the match.

James Mitchell:

It is time for Part Two of Mike Tenay Talks With...featuring James Mitchell. Mitchell says that Chris sat back and watched his father, the man who did everything on Earth, get shot three times in the back by his mother. Mike asks James if he would be satisfied if he gets the explanation from Chris. Mitchell says that he is tired of being made out to be the bad guy. It will end only when Chris tells him and the entire world the secret that only they know. Mitchell says that he will be calling Chris into the center of the ring to tell the world what they wanted to know. It will happen next week. We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and we are in Jim Cornette’s office with Jim, Crystal, and Matt Morgan. Crystal asks Matt if he wants to tell Cornette or if she should. Cornette wants to know if he signed any matches, but first he wants to know about the briefcases. Matt says that he has the briefcases in the most secure location. Each of the people who won the briefcases have the briefcases. Cornette calls Morgan a blithering idiot because those were the people Cornette was most worried about tampering with the briefcases. Cornette says that if upstairs calls him, he is going with Cornette. Cornette wants to know what is going to happen since they are supposed to open the briefcases. He tells Morgan to get the briefcases from the men and keep them with him. Cornette says that Morgan is going to be the death of him.

Ten Man Tag Team Match
Robert Roode, Christian Cage, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Tomko vs.
Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Eric Young and Kazarian


Before the main event begins, as Robert Roode comes to the ring, we see the number one fan/stalker shower Roode with a stare from the crowd.

The start:

Kazarian and Styles start things off and Kazarian with an arm bar and hammer lock into a head scissors take down. Styles with a rollup for a near fall. Kazarian tries for another cover with a crucifix. Kazarian with a waist lock but Styles with a standing switch. Kazarian drops down and tries for a single leg take down. Styles tries for a kick but misses Kazarian. Styles with a rollup for a two count and then he sends Kazarian to the mat. Each man with kip ups and then Kazarian with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker followed by a swinging neck breaker on Styles for a two count. Styles with a jawbreaker and he tags in Angle. Angle punches Kazarian and then he puts Kazarian in a front face lock. Kazarian with forearms to Angle and then he hits a spin kick.

Mid-match notes:

Booker is tagged in and he punches Angle and chops him. Booker with a knee to Angle but Angle with a kick and European uppercut. Booker with a thrust kick for a two count. Booker with a front face lock but Angle backs Booker into his corner and Roode tags in and punches Booker followed by kicks. Booker with a spinebuster to Roode and then Eric Young is tagged in. Roode punches and kicks Young followed by a chop. Young with a Thesz Press followed by punches but Roode with a kick to Young and a front face lock before he can tag in Christian. Christian with a kick to Young followed by punches and slaps. Young with a drop toe hold and then he slaps Christian in the head. Young punches Christian. Christian with an Irish whip and Young with the Flair Flip to the apron and the he connects with a shoulder and slides in between Christian’s legs and clotheslines Christian over the top rope to the floor. Tomko comes in without a tag and he attack Young. Nash comes in and punches Tomko and clotheslines Tomko over the top rope to the floor. Young hits a pescado onto Tomko and Christian. Nash throws Roode over the top rope to the floor. Kazarian with a corkscrew plancha onto everyone already on the floor. Nash sets for a move to the floor but it was only a joke. We go to commercial. We are back and Eric Young and Christian return to the ring. We see Joe punching Angle on the floor. Young punches Christian but Christian with an Irish whip but Young floats over. Christian sends Young into the ring post. Christian works on the arm with boots. Styles tags in and he kicks Young. Styles with a phenomenal drop kick for a two count. Angle tags in and he connects with a kick to Young. Angle with a back breaker for a near fall. Angle goes to a side head lock.

While Young is in the side head lock, we learn that we will find out the contents of the cases next week. Back to the action in the ring, Young backs Angle into the corner. Young with an Irish whip but Young misses the charge and Angle hits a German suplex but Booker and Joe break up the cover. Styles comes in and makes the cover but only gets a two count. Styles with forearms to Young and Young with a kick. Styles keeps Young from making the tag. Styles charges into an elbow but Styles crotches Young on top. Styles tries for a super belly-to-back suplex but Young counters with a cross body and both men are down. Joe and Tomko are tagged in and Joe and Tomko exchange forearms. Tomko with a big boot but Joe shakes it off and hits a jumping enzuigiri. Tomko with a power slam to Joe but Joe responds with a power slam of his own but Styles makes the save with an Asai moonsault. Kazarian with a slingshot DDT to Styles. Joe and Tomko each hit clotheslines and both men are down. Nash and Roode tag in and Nash punches everyone. Nash with a big boot to Roode and Christian followed by one to Angle. Nash with a side slam to Nash but Cage makes the save. Booker comes in to make the save for Nash and he punches everyone. Angle tries for the Olympic Slam but Booker gets out of the hold. Booker tries for the scissors kick but Tomko pulls the ropes down and Booker goes to the floor. Roode and Joe fight in the ring and Roode with punches to Joe.

The Finish:

Roode Irish whips Joe and Joe hits a back flip plancha onto Tomko and Styles on the floor. Nash with a big boot to Roode but Christian pulls the referee out of the ring. Nash pulls Cage into the ring but Roode with a low blow to Nah and then Roode is given a chair. Roode gives the chair to Cage but while they talk, Eric Young goes up top. Young with a drop kick to Christian’s back and Christian hits Roode accidentally with the chair. Nash hits the jackknife power bomb on Roode for the three count.

Winners - Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Eric Young and Kaz

The Aftermath:


After the match, Robert Roode and Christian Cage argue in the ring. Angle and Tomko get into the ring too and Angle tries to separate them. Christian says that it is between him and Roode and tells them to leave the ring. Roode and Christian push each other and then Angle hits Christian from behind with the title belt. Styles tries to stop Roode and Angle from attacking Christian while Tomko stands in the ring watching this happen. While Styles stops one man, the other attacks Christian. Tomko leaves the ring and heads to the back. Angle puts Christian in the ankle lock as we go to credits.
