- TNA Wrestling’s majority owner is Panda Energy who owns 71% while Jeff Jarrett owns 29%.

- TNA Wrestling was founded by Jerry and Jeff Jarrett in May of 2002.

- TNA Wrestling Started as NWA: TNA, but the National Wrestling Alliance pulled out of the organization in 2004, leaving the new company name, Total Nonstop Action.

- TNA owns the rights to the NWA Heavyweight Championship and NWA Tag Team Championships until the year 2014.

- In TNA, they have nullified the “champion’s advantage” by allowing titles to change hands as a result of disqualification or count out.

- TNA is the first American promotion to exclusively use a hexagonal ring as opposed to the more conventional four-sided ring.

- Neilson Corporation offered to buy TNA in May 2005 for $10,000,000 USD from Panda Energy; however, Panda Energy expressed no interest. Morphoplex, a major TNA sponsor, offered Panda Energy $20,000,000 USD for the company later that month, which was also rejected.

- TNA iMPACT! debuted on national television on June 4, 2004 on FOX Sports Net.

- TNA held their first house show in the Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth, Michigan on March 17, 2006.

- Tournaments held by TNA Wrestling include the Chris Candido Memorial Tag Team Tournament (2005), Super X Cup Tournament (2003), America's X Cup Tournament (2004), and World X Cup Tournament (2006).

- TNA iMPACT! and PPVs are booked by a committee headed by Scott D’Amore with Jeremy Borash, Mike Tenay, Dutch Mantell, and Bill Banks. President and Vice President of TNA Entertainment Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett can veto any decision.

- Booking in TNA was formerly headed by Jeff Jarrett, Vince Russo, and Dusty Rhodes.

- Panda Energy purchased controlling interest of TNA from Jerry Jarrett in October 2002.

- TNA iMPACT! debuted on Spike TV in autumn of 2005.
