Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun has a video interview with Kevin Nash now online. The interview was posted in two parts and was conducted backstage at the Maryland Championship Wrestling show in Dundalk last Saturday. Here are some of the highlights:
- Nash talked in detail about the situation where he left the Impact tapings a couple of weeks ago. He explained that there is a clause in his TNA contract where he has the right to veto storylines when it comes to physicality. Nash explained that he didn't feel it was worth the risk and talked it over with Jeff Jarrett and left. He said people made a much bigger deal out of it than it really was. On a funny note, Nash asked why couldn't they get "that Devine kid" to get eliminated in his spot.
- Nash talked about how often he goes through the Atlanta airport and how many people come up to him and ask him when he's going to start wrestling again when he's been wrestling for TNA for the past several years. The interviewer follows up with what TNA can do to better increase their exposure and Nash put it on Spike TV. He said that Spike TV needs to step it up and brand TNA Wrestling and spend the big bucks.
- Regarding his storyline with Samoa Joe, Nash said that it was too back and forth and that they're all over the place every week. He explained how he understands the angle because it is wrote to get Joe over but if he were writing it, it would obviously be to put himself over.
- Nash said that the Chris Jericho/Shawn Michaels segment at SummerSlam was great. Nash talked about how Chris Jericho was just dying when he came back, even saying he looked like a country Bon Jovi and now he has legitimate heat. Nash put the angle over big time as well as his close friend Shawn Michaels. The interviewer asked Nash if he thought that the stiff shot that Michaels' wife Rebecca took from Jericho was planned and he said that there is no way that Shawn would have OK'd her getting hit. Nash said that the Jericho/Michaels angle is something that he'll pay to see and that it is a money angle.

Richard Reacts: Very good interview as those highlights were the most notable after watching it through one time. That interview almost makes me see Nash in a different light as he was very friendly, humorous, and down to earth. He must have been in a really good mood or maybe he just had a two beer buzz but Nash actually seemed like a genuine good guy.
