I attended the TNA house show at the Skydome in Coventry on Thursday night and thought I'd send some notes from the show.
The arena was probably only just over half full, mainly due to the lack of local advertising for the show. I mean if you don't follow wrestling you wouldn't have known the show was taking place. That being said the crowd was mega hot all night.
There was a huge pop for Kurt Angle when he was announced as Homicides tag partner against Daniels and Rhino. A funny moment was half way through we started chanting "Angle give us a wave, Angle, Angle give us a wave" Kurt totally cracked up at ringside, before waving to everyone.
Dixie Carter did a promo in the ring thanking everyone for coming, and how they received so much support from the Coventry crowd the first time they toured. She spent the rest of the night posing for photos with fans.
D'Lo Brown was wandering around the arena most of the night, and he is HUGE!!! Nice guy too.
All in all a great show, and if TNA start producing TV matches to this standard week after week then the WWE will soon take notice. Fantastic show, hopefully they'll be back again soon. Keep up the good work on WNW guys! :)
