Paul Heyman has a new column on The Sun website out of the United Kingdom discussing that despite all of the success that Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle have had in their recent matches how it has not translated into new viewers for TNA Wrestling. Heyman blames the problem on the company's failure to come up with a good marketing strategy.
Heyman talks about the success that Vince McMahon has had marketing with WWE and backs up with his claim by comparing Ric Flair and Hogan. Heyman writes, "Why is Ric Flair, universally regarded as "the greatest wrestler of all time", living in an upper middle class suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina, while Hulk Hogan is arguing over tens of millions of dollars in his divorce case?
He launches into how Hogan was marketed by "the McMahon Promotional Juggernaut" and draws more comparisons with Steve Austin and The Undertaker.

Richard Reacts: Heyman wrote this article yesterday but I just got around to reading it this afternoon. He is exactly right. TNA Wrestling does not have a viable marketing strategy and as a result their ratings are stagnant. It doesn't matter if they bring in Sting, go live, or give away Angle vs. Joe on free TV, their ratings are not going to change until they are able to market their product. WWE has produced some of the most lackluster television ever and still draws a large audience because of superb marketing.
