For those that missed last night's edition of TNA Impact, the TNA Championship has been vacated due to "injuries" that Rob Van Dam sustained on last week's show.
The company is holding a tournament to crown a new champion where the Final Four will compete at No Surrender next month and the winner will be crowned at Bound For Glory in October. Click here for more information on the tournament.
We've heard a couple stories making rounds about why RVD was written off TV, but as indicated to us, there seem to be contract issues.
