- As reported earlier, Petey Williams suffered what is believed to be a broken orbital bone at the Impact taping last Tuesday in Orlando, Florida during a 6-man non-title X-division match. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that it was originally thought that he had suffered a broken jaw from a stiff knee by Jimmy Rave. According to Meltzer, Williams freaked out after he suffered the injury because he does not have health insurance but Terry Taylor told him to go to the hospital and TNA would pick up the bill. The match in which the injury occurred will air on this Thursday’s edition of Impact on Spike TV.

- TNA Wrestling has an in-character interview with Kip James now online on the official website. You can read it at this link.
- TNA has announced that the Destination X DVD will be released next Tuesday, May 13th.
Richard Reacts: What Dave Meltzer also mentioned in his newsletter that I did not mention in this report is that he feels that TNA needs to make it a company policy when a worker gets hurt that the company will pay the medical bill. I could not agree more. TNA has to be very careful not to get caught in situations where they pay for some wrestlers and not for others because that is going to result in a huge legal headache. Regarding Williams, there are actually reports out there that he is going to try and work the upcoming house shows this weekend. I would be absolutely shocked if Williams worked - given the severity of his injury. If he does work, not only is it stupidity on the part of Williams but it would also not say much for the company who is paying the medical bills.
