- TNA did an angle at last night's Impact tapings claiming that Tomko was "injured" in an MMA fight over in Japan so he was unable to make it to TVs. This left AJ Styles searching for a partner in backstage segments that aired throughout the show. As noted yesterday, it appears that he has a lot of heat within the company.
- Petey Williams has actually dyed his hair blonde to look even more like a mini version of Scott Steiner.
- After tonight's TNA Impact tapings, the company will be off until May 8th at which point they will run six consecutive shows (which includes the Sacrifice PPV and the next two TNA Impact tapings) that will conclude on May 13th. The company will get a couple of days off before they do another three-show house show tour in the Northeast United States.
Richard Reacts: I read in Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer update yesterday that Tomko has actually been suspended from TNA. Apparently all of the heat stems from him missing the Lockdown fanfest the day before the pay-per-view a couple of weeks ago. I have not seen pictures of the new blonde "Maple Leaf Muscle" but I was told he looks even more like Steiner. TNA's workload is picking up, six consecutive shows is grueling no matter which way you spin it.
