TNA Turning Point Opener:


TNA Turning Point 2007 opened with AJ Styles upset backstage in TNA champion Kurt Angle's locker room. Styles was asking why Angle came to blows with Christian Cage and doesn't want to be associated with Cage. He asked what Angle has to lose. Angle says he could lose his authority and that Christian has never listened to anyone his own career. Styles asks what he has to lose and Angle finally says he'll talk to Christian. He walks off and AJ is all excited. Karen Angle says that Styles had better hope that Christian doesn't piss Angle off. Styles suddenly looked really worried. Tomko was in the background of all of this looking as if everyone around him had lost their minds.

Six Man Tag Team Table Match
Team 3D and Johnny Devine vs. The Motor City Machineguns and Jay Lethal


They showed a shot of a happy Socal Val clapping as Lethal came to the ring. Brother Ray grabbed the mic as the bell rang. He said 3D were the greatest tag team of all time. He told all of his opponents that they sucked and so did everyone in the crowd.

The start:

Devine and Shelley started trading slaps with Devine getting the better of the exchange. He stomped on Shelley. They showed several tables stationed around ringside. Shelley made a blind tag to Sabin, The babyfaces hit a series of springboard moves in rapid fire procession on Devine. Sabin began measuring and nailing Devine, who tagged to Devon. Devon shoulderblocked Sabin down to the mat. Sabin ducked a clothesline and nailed Devon with a hurancanrana. He tagged Lethal, who came off the top with a double sledgehammer off the top. Devon caught Lethal with a snapping powerslam.

Mid-match notes:

Ray tagged in and worked over Lethal in the corner. He brought Lethal down to the mat, working over his arm. Lethal fought his way to his feet and jumped over the ropes, snapping Ray's arm on the ropes. Lethal fired back but was caught with an uranage. The Gun hit the ring and hit a high low on Ray, then double backdropped Devine and Devon. The Guns and Lethal hit stereo bodypresses to the floor on 3D and Devine. All six battled around the ringside area. Shelley tossed Ray into a ringpost, but Ray came back with a series of chops on the floor. 3D cursed out the announcers as they grabbed a table in front of them. They placed it on the apron but the Guns both dropkicked it into them on the floor. The Guns worked over Devine with double-team clotheslines and kicks. 3D hit the ring and laid out the Guns. They nailed Shelley with a sideslam/legdrop combination, then killed Sabin with a reverse neckbreaker. 3D began setting up a table inside the ring in one of the corners. Lethal, finally returning to the apron, nailed Ray with several punches. Ray charged him but Lethal moved. Ray hit the table and broke it.

Lethal thought it meant they won the match but the referee ruled that Lethal hadn't put him through it. Devine attacked Lethal and began choking him in the corner as the Guns got a table. Devine tried to do a baseball slide but the Guns lifted the table. When Devine landed outside the ring, then slammed the table backwards towards him. They set up the table on the floor. Devon attacked them, knocking them to the floor, flattening the table but not breaking it. Devon set up the table against one of the guard rails. Devon set up Alex Shelley for Devine, who dove out of the ring. Shelley moved and Devine crashed through the table. Lethal brought a table into the ring and they set it up in the center. Lethal and Shelley went to suplex Devon through it but Ray shoved the table away. The former Dudleys went to set up the 3D but Shelley turned it into a DDT on Devon. Lethal hit an enziguiri on Ray, sending the referee down at the same time.

The Finish:

Sabin and Shelley did stereo dives outside the ring on 3D. Lethal laid out Devine with several kendo stick shots to the head and put him on the table. He went to the top rope for the flying elbow and nailed it. Team 3D attacked Lethal and the Guns, whipping them with the X-Division championship. They put Devine atop of Lethal and woke the referee, who saw Lethal underneath and called for the bell.

Backstage:


Crystal interviewed Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe. Crystal said that it looked like Scott Hall hadn't arrived yet. Nash said that they were pacing themselves. Nash said that he joined with Kurt Angle because he was getting older and wanted to see if he still had a shot at getting a woman that hot, not that he would have taken it. Joe looked like he was annoyed, took the mic and asked Nash if he was serious. He said they were going to go to war, but Nash was making jokes and Hall was nowhere to be found. He said when they were serious, they could find him in his locker room. The promo made perfect sense given Joe's character. He walked off. Nash asked if he was the Triple S - Super Serious Samoan and then said, "we'll be ready."

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Match
ODB and Roxxi Laveaux vs. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky

The start:


Roxxi and Angelina started. Roxxi backed her into the corner, where ODB grabbed her by the hair. Still, Angelina ducked a charge and nailed Roxxi. She hit a sit down powerbomb. She tagged in Velvet and nailed a double hiptoss and elbow combination for a two count. ODB tagged in and the crowd chanted her name. Velvet disrespected her and got spanked for her troubles.

Mid-match notes:

Sky dropkicked her in the chest and rode her. She spanked ODB who liked it and tried to get the referee to spank her. Roxxi kicked Sky as she rebounded off the ropes. ODB nailed her with a clothesline for a two count. Roxxi tagged in and hit a running rear splash in the corner. She used her boot to choke Sky. Roxxi continued to beat on Sky, tying her upside down in the corner. ODB tagged in and stepped on her groin then tried to cover her. Sky caused Roxxi to collide with ODB in the corner, then made the hot tag to Love. Love nailed a clothesline and knee to the face.

The Finish:

Love drilled ODB with a sit down stunner and a neckbreaker for a two count. All four brawled inside the ring. ODB and Roxxi were whipped into each other with ODB sent to the floor. Love nailed a running dropkick to Roxxi as Sky hit a side Russian legsweep. Love scored the pin.

Winners - Angelina Love and Velvet Sky

Backstage:


Jeremy Borash caught up with Kurt Angle as he was entering Christian Cage's locker room. Borash said he was too angry to be dealing with Cage while he was angry. He told Angle that he and Karen have a deep breathing exercise to calm down. Angle asked if he's been deep breathing with his wife and said he was going to keep an eye on Borash. He entered the locker room, where Cage was sitting there with Robert Roode. He told Cage that he didn't want to fight because if he did, he would have brought Tomko and Styles with him. He said he just wanted to talk and Cage said he talked enough when he got in Tomko and Styles' ears. Cage said if they, Cage and Roode came together as a unit, they couldn't be stopped. He said they don't have to get along, just co-exist. He said that he had to be the leader. Cage said it was all interesting until the last part. Angle said every group has a leader and he likes to consider himself the George Bush of TNA. Cage said he was nobody's lackey and Angle could take his offer and shove it up his ass along with Tomko and Styles. Angle asked if he was serious and Cage said it was real, damn real. Angle stormed off. Roode applauded Cage and Cage warned him that when they got to the ring, Roode was to follow his lead and told him to make sure he does. He walked off and Roode called him an a**hole. Ms. Brooks told Roode that it takes one to know one. He told her to get out of his face before he does something she'll regret. Good segment.

Backstage:

Backstage, James Storm was dying for a beer but Jackie Moore had put it under lock and key because after what he did to Eric Young, he had to take Eric seriously. Storm screamed that he had to have his beer. She slapped him and told to get a grip on because he wasn't having any beer until after the match.

Battle Between Two Former Drinking Buddies
James Storm vs. Eric Young

The start:


Young attacked Storm from behind and they brawled up the ramp. Young dropkicked Storm on the ramp and he rolled into the ringside area. Young chased him into the ring and back to the floor. As he followed Storm into the ring, Jackie Moore tried to grab him, but Storm took her out by accident. Young tossed him into the ring He began working over Young's arm, then whipped him into the corner. Mike Tenay wondered if Storm would have been better off drinking. Young shoulderblocked Storm into the corner, but missed a second one, hitting the ringpost.

Mid-match notes:

Storm went for his beer but Moore wouldn't let him. He instead worked over Young on the floor, slamming his arm across the guard rail. He brought Young to the ringpost and pulled his arm around it. He brought Young back into the ring and fish hooked his mouth. The referee admonished Storm, allowing Jackie to work over Young by the ropes. Storm dropped a knee across the hurt shoulder. Storm cinched in a side chinlock. Young fought his way to his feet but Storm it him on the face. He whipped Young to the ropes but Young held on and backdropped Storm over the ropes. Storm landed on the apron and nailed a flying bodypress. Young rolled through but Storm kicked up. He hit a jawbreaker and a DDT variation. Storm continued to work over Young and picked up Young, nailing him with the Whirlybird. He laid across the top rope, not taking Young seriously. He covered Young, who kicked up at two.

Storm locked on an armbar submission, playing off all the offense he focused on Young's shoulder. He finally broke the hold before stomping the shoulder and going right back to the submission. Young began trying to fire up. He finally gets to his feet and nails a powerslam, but was too hurt to follow up. The crowd tried to rally Young. Young nailed a back bodydrop and a discus clothesline with his good arm. He hit a flying elbow off the top and made the cover but only received a two count, partially because he was recovering from his bad arm. Young maneuvered Storm into a Northern Lights Perfectplex style move into a bridge but Storm got out of it. The storyline was that Young couldn't feel anything in his arm. Storm dropkicked Young in the back of the head and hit the back cracked for a two count. Storm went for the superkick but missed.

The Finish:

Young slammed him but was too hurt to make a cover quick enough. Young rolled up Storm. Moore got on the apron. She went to spit beer into Young's eyes as he was pushed off of the pin combination but he ducked and Storm got the beer, He acted like he needed it and drank the rest of the bottle. In plain view of the referee, Storm tried to nail Young with the bottle, but the ref grabbed his arm. Young sunset flipped Storm and got the pin.

Backstage:


Crystal interviewed LAX backstage. Homicide said he didn't want to talk about the female member of the Latino Nation member attacking Christy Hemme. Homicide didn't want to hear about it, saying TNA isn't giving LAX what they deserve so they were going to get a title match tonight. Crystal said that SpikeTV and LAX don't like violence against women, so a fine or suspension could be in their future. Homicide said that no one tells LAX what to do.

Feast Or Fired Match
LAX vs. Triple X vs. Scott Steiner vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Shark Boy vs. Lance Hoyt vs.
Jimmy Rave vs. Petey Williams vs. Chris Harris vs. VKM


There were four boxes on poles set up in each corner. You have to get the case in your hands and then get to the floor to claim it. A number of wrestlers tossed others to the floor while others tried unsuccessfully to grab the cases, being pulled back into the ring. There was so much going on, it was insane to follow it. The Impact Zone chanted for LAX. The announcers noted that we wouldn't learn what were in the cases until Impact.

The start:

Petey Williams finally captured Case #4. BG James went for a case but was shoved off the top by Jimmy Rave. Chris Harris acted like he didn't want any of the cases because he didn't want to chance getting fired. Security carried off BG, who was clutching at his ankle. Kip James hit Lance Hoyt with a big boot to the face. Kip finally removed a case but was surrounded in the ring by everyone. He tossed it out of the ring to BG on the floor. BG caught it and was excited, then looked concerned. Senshi finally captured a briefcase.

Mid-match notes:

LAX worked over Rave. Homicide went to his the Copkilla on Rave but Christy Hemme scratches his eyes. The Latina member of LAX nailed Hemme. Chris Daniels hit an enziguiri on Shark Boy. Harris clotheslines Daniels and told Shark Boy to go for the case. Sharky does but Harris turns on him and nails the Electric Chair. Outside the ring, Scott Steiner started throwing people into the ringside table and began brawling with Chris Daniels. Inside the ring, Harris decides he doesn't want the case. Shark Boy bites him on the rear. Harris goes to the floor. Shark Boy dives out on Harris and Rave. Hernandez powerbombs Dutt onto everyone on the floor. It comes down to Kip and Hernandez in the ring. They bounce off each other with shoulderblocks.

The Finish:

Kip nails Hernandez with a dropkick. Steiner takes out Kip with a belly to belly suplex. Daniels hits Steiner with a missile dropkick. Daniels goes for the final case. Hernandez tries to nail him but is kicked off. Daniels nails him with the case. Kip James kicks Daniels and hits the Famouser on it. Steiner kicks James to the floor, grabs the case and goes to the floor, winning the final case.

Winners - Senshi, Petey Williams, BG James and Scott Steiner

Backstage:


Backstage, Crystal interviewed Gail Kim. Kim said she takes pride in being a wrestler and said Kong only wants to hurt someone. She said that she can go down to Kong's level and dared her to make her brawl, make her bleed and break her bones. She said that the only way Kong was going to get the belt was by killing her.

TNA Knockouts Championship Match
Awesome Kong vs. Gail Kim (c)

The start:


As Kim got on the apron, she looked to the crowd and Kong smashed her to the floor. Kong went to the floor. Kim attacked her and they brawled on the floor. Kim was slammed into the table at ringside. She kept fighting back but Kong would just beat her down. Kong pressed and dropped Kim across the ring barrier. The Impact Zone chanted TNA. Kong positioned her in front of a ring post and charged but Kim moved. Kong sold that she hurt her elbow and forearm. Kim returned to the ring and Kong slowly followed. She got up on the apron, where Kim drilled her arm over the ropes. When Kong finally stepped through the ropes, they rang the bell.

Mid-match notes:

Kim went right to work on the arm, snapping it down and backwards. She went to do it again but was caught in a sleeper. Kongs swung and slammed Kim down. Kim was worked over against the ropes with chops. Kim tried to fire back with a forearm, but was slapped in the face. She whipped Kim in the corner but missed a running charge. Kong locked on a camel clutch, pulling back on Kim's hair for additional leverage. Kong picked up Kim by the throat and slammed her down, then stepped on her. She continued the assault. She put Kim on the corner and charged, but Kim pulled backwards over the ropes with an armbar, breaking it before a five. Kim went right back to the armbar in the ring but Kong brushed her off. Kong went for a powerbomb but Kim rolled through with an attempted sunset flip.

The Finish

Kong brushed her off and missed a discus punch. Kim kicked her in the leg, then nailed a missile dropkick. She nailed a second to the head and took Kong down. Kim hit a back senton off the top rope but only received a two count. Kong broke free, missed a clothesline, then nailed a spinning back fist. She began drilling Kim in the corner with a series of knees to the face. She shoved the referee and began choking Kim with a boot across the throat. Kong piefaced the referee down when he broke it up and called for the bell.

Winner by disqualification, and still TNA Knockouts Champion, Gail Kim

The Aftermath:


When Kong realized what happened, she nailed Andrew Thomas with a sitdown powerbomb. Kong went back after Kim. Velvet Sky hit the ring but got a chokeslam for her trouble. Angelina Love hit the ring with a chair, but Kong just punched it, destroying her. The crowd chanted for ODB. Kong grabbed the chair and nailed Kim with a sitdown powerbomb on it. Security hit the ring and Kong continued to choke Kim.

Backstage:

Backstage, AJ Styles was screaming that it sucks Christian won't join them. Styles said that Karen promised him they could be on both teams and now it's not happening. He said that he can't function without Cage, so he's done. Angle said that all Cage ever did for AJ was let him carry his jock strap. Styles said that he's never even held it, so there! Tomko tried to point out a time and Styles told him to cut it out. Karen Angle said that she saw there was friction with Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash earlier and they can use it to their advantage, Kurt scoffed and asked if she really thought they could sway Joe to their side. She said no, but they can turn Joe against his partners. Styles said he didn't know what they were drinking but he wanted to get wasted too. Angle said he was going to talk to Joe. Styles questioned that if he couldn't sway Christian, what's he going to do with Joe? Angle said he was the captain of the ship and he was going to take care of it.

Backstage:

Backstage, Crystal said she hated being back here with Black Reign and Rellik. Reign said that she had nothing to be afraid of and introduced himself, Rellik and his artic fox. Crystal said it was a rat and he said the only rat he sees is her. Reign promised that the pain and punishment they put out tonight would make "Saw look like Candyland." He told Abyss to bring the tacks because he'll spit them back in his face. Reign then told Raven that he likes spiders and snakes. Uh, isn't RHINO in the match? He began licking the rat as Crystal looked like she was going to be sick.

Match of 10,000 Thumbtacks
Abyss and Raven vs. Black Reign and Rellik

The start:


All four brawled in the ring. Raven hit a running clothesline followed by a bulldog out of the corner. Abyss destroyed Reign. Rellik snapped Raven's neck across the top rope. Reign and Abyss brawled on the floor. Rellik joined in, Raven slingshot himself over the ropes onto "all three", although he really only crashed into Abyss. Abyss tossed Reign into the crowd. Raven hits a side Russian legsweep into the railing on Rellik. Abyss and Reign battled into the bleachers. Raven and Rellik battled on the other side of the building. Reign whipped Abyss into the wall of the Impact Zone.

Mid-match notes:

Raven ducked a spinkick by Rellik, sending him into the front row. Reign and Abyss battled back into the ringside area. Abyss went under the ring for a table. He set it up and put a plank of tacks atop of it. He and Reign battled around it. Reign knocked Abyss into the ringpost and returned to the ring. Rellik picked up Raven and crotched him on the guard rail outside. Abyss grabbed Reign's weapon and spiked him. Reign bladed. Rellik tried to stalk Abyss from behind with a chair but Abyss just elbowed it. Reign was busted open. Well, they promised a ton of blood. Abyss went for an over the shoulder powerslam but was kicked low by Reign. Reign and Rellik worked over Abyss, who was also bleeding badly. Rellik put one of the planks of tacks on the ring apron, then grabbed a handful. He tried to feed them to Raven, then began nailing him with crossfaces. He nailed Raven with a kick to the gut, taking him down. Outside the ring, Abyss and Reign continued to brawl.

Rellik continued to work over Raven in the corner. He went to a bag of tacks that were hanging above one of the corner, allowing Raven to take him down. Raven was bleeding from the mouth. Raven made a comeback, hitting a DDT on Reign for a two count. Reign and Rellik whipped Raven into the corner but turned into a double clothesline by Abyss, who was bleeding to a ridiculous degree. Raven and Abyss got kendo sticks and destroyed Reign and Rellik. Abyss got nailed low. Reign dragged Raven outside the ring on the apron and teased cutting him with his weapon. Raven pulled him forward, sending him through the table with the bed of tacks. Raven catches Rellik and places him atop of an (empty) bed of tacks. He came off the apron with an elbow, but Rellik moved and Raven smashed the wooden bed.

The Finish:

Rellik and Abyss battled in the ring. Rellik got the better and went for the bag of tacks. He sprayed the tacks on the mat. Abyss grabbed him for a chokeslam but Rellik spewed mist in his face, blinding Abyss. Rellik charged Abyss but was still caught with a Black Hole Slam in the tacks. Abyss scored the pin. They showed lots of close-ups of the tacks embedded in his back and of Abyss' bloody face.

Winners - Abyss and Raven

Backstage:


Kurt Angle entered Samoa Joe's locker room as he was getting ready. Joe asked him if he was crazy. Joe kept looking around for a sneak attack. Angle said they were on the same wavelength. Joe asked him what he was talking about. Angle said the entire locker room knows Hall and Nash are using Joe to get over and will then discard him because that's what they do in this business. I was cracking up hearing this. Angle said he and Joe are competitors and he didn't want to see Joe roll over and take it when they try to take advantage of Joe in the ring. He said he wanted to see Joe do the right thing tonight.

Backstage:

Backstage, Booker T was interviewed by Crystal. Booker said he and Christian go way back and have gone one on one in the past. He said he and Christian are both here to get the TNA championship. Booker said that before he went for the belt he wanted to compete with the best wrestlers in the world. He said one of them was a man that had his back when he came to TNA when he didn't even know Booker, Kaz. He said another was Bobby Roode. Sharmell corrected him and sarcastically said it was Robert Roode. Booker scoffed at the name and said Roode has a great body and can be a great wrestler but tonight he's going to get nailed with Booker's finish and pinned. Booker did a good job putting over TNA and the wrestlers he was going to wrestle tonight. Call him the anti-Fatu.

TNA Tag Team Match
Christian Cage and Robert Roode vs. Kaz and Booker T

The start:


Kaz and Cage started after a long period of stalling. Cage nailed several chops with Kaz returning the favor. Cage hit a corkscrew elbow off the ropes. Cage worked over Kaz and tagged Roode. Kaz caught him with an armdrag, then tagged in Booker. Booker worked over Roode with kicks and punches. Roode worked over Booker with chops but was caught with a hiptoss and clothesline. Booker suplexed Roode for a two count. They showed Robert Roode's fan watching from the last row. The spotlight was even on her. Cage tagged in and continued working over Booker.

Mid-match notes:

Booker avoided a charge in the corner and backdropped Cage. He tagged Kaz and nailed a double team shoulderblock. Kaz got a two count. Kaz nailed Cage in the corner with a forearm. Roode tried to interfere but was drilled, landing in front of Cage. Kaz dropkicked Roode, sending him into Cage. They go to the floor. Kaz nailed a forward flip dive over the top on both. Back in, Cage nailed a swinging inverted DDT out of the corner on Kaz for a two count. The crowd did dueling chants. Cage stepped over Kaz's back, choking him across the middle rope. Kaz fired back with elbows but was cut off. Roode chokes Kaz in the corner as Cage antagonizes Booker. Roode fake tagged in (Midnight Express would be proud). Roode cinches down Kaz with a rear chinlock. Kaz came back and they fired back and forth. They went back and forth with pinfall combinations. Roode finally stopped Kaz with a kick to the gut. He tossed Kaz over the top to the apron. Kaz caught him with a shoulderblock. He springboarded into the ring but Roode caught him with a uranage. Booker T broke up the pinfall. Cage and Roode worked over Kaz. Kaz sent Cage crashing into Roode and rolled him up for a two count.

Kaz nailed the Wave of the Future but was too tired to capitalize on it. Kaz finally made it to Booker for a tag but before they could, Booker was pulled off the apron by Roode. By the time Booker recovered, Cage had pulled Kaz away. Kaz finally nailed Cage with a neckbreaker at the same time he drilled Roode with a DDT. He crawled to the corner and finally made the hot tag to Booker T. Booker unloaded on Roode and Cage. He ducked a Cage clothesline and nailed a flying forearm. He misses an Axe Kick but is caught with a spinebuster for a two count. Booker goes to the top rope, but Roode grabs him. Cage grabs Booker and goes for a superplex. Booker shoves him off and nails a missile dropkick. Booker did the sign for the Spinaroonie but Roode attacked him with a kick to the back. Booker kicks him off but Cage thumbs him in the eye. Cage chops Booker and whips him into the corner. Booker nailed a sunset flip but Cage got up at the last second. They crotched Booker on the top but Kaz nailed a springboard missile dropkick on both.

The Finish:

Kaz unloaded on Roode and Cage. He was backdropped over the top to the floor by Roode. Cage and Roode went for a double clothesline but Booker ducked and hit a leg lariat on both. Booker did the Spinaroonie and rebounded off the ropes for the Scissors kick but Roode nailed him as he hit the ropes. Roode brought a chair into the ring but Booker ducked and Cage ate the chair. Kaz dropkicked Roode out of the ring to the floor. Booker hit the Ax Kick and scored the pin.

Winners - Kaz and Booker T

The Aftermath:


After the bout, Roode helped up Cage but they teased fighting. AJ Styles hit the ring trying to play peacemaker but Cage wanted nothing to do with him.

Backstage:

Backstage, Samoa Joe was screaming at Nash because Scott Hall was nowhere to be found. He asked if Hall couldn't pass a breathalyzer to start his car to get to the building. Ouch. He asked if Nash was trying to set him up. Nash said he was more worried about Hall's health than anything else. Joe said he was only worried about looking cool and being a punk bitch when "it came time to do business." Nash got in his face and said he wasn't a punk bitch. Nash said he would be out there and if Joe wanted to be his partner, then fine. Joe said he would be out there and warned Nash he wouldn't be alone.

In the arena:

Samoa Joe didn't come to the ring at first and finally came to the ring. Joe took the mic and said that backstage, he was told that the fans love him, so they want him to tell the fans something that will satisfy them. Joe said, "Scott Hall no showed this event tonight." He said he would love to tell the fans that Hall would be coming down later but he punked out on Joe and every fan that came out tonight. He said he started thinking and they could go two on three with Kevin and make the best of it. He said he then realized TNA gave him a live mic on PPV, so he'd like to say a few things. He said there are two types of wrestlers here. TNA diehards that bust their ass every night of the week for TNA fans. Joe said that TNA is the Motor City Machineguns are busting their ass to make their name in the business. He said it's Black Machismo doing his best to entertain every fan in the Impact Zone. He said TNA is Samoa Joe being the best damn wrestler in the world. Joe said that TNA are hard working athletes trying to change the wrestling world,. not people trying to hold down the business while they profit from it. Joe said that TNA is about wrestlers who risk their lives on wires while others pad their pension. He said that Scott Hall can kiss his ass because he's a punk. Joe asked someone off camera, "Are you mad? Go ahead and fire me. I don't care." Joe said TNA told him they were making calls to try and get him a new partner tonight. He said that he told TNA he didn't need a new partner. He went to the locker room and asked who wants to be in a fight tonight and every single one of the X-Division wrestlers stood up. He said every young wrestler who's first TV contract was in TNA said me. He said one bloody, beaten, battered wrestler begged for the shot and Joe introduced his partner...Eric Young.

Six Man Tag Team Match
Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Tomko vs. Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash and Eric Young

The start:


Joe and Styles started the bout. They go back and forth. Joe drilled him with chops and knees. Young tagged in and locked on a chinlock. Young backdropped Styles. Angle tagged in and shoulderblocked Young down. Angle nailed an uppercut. Young slid through his legs and nailed a belly to belly suplex. Young tagged in Nash, who scampered out of the ring and tagged in Tomko. Tomko cornered Nash and drilled him with punches. He clotheslined Nash, who didn't sell it.

Mid-match notes:

Tomko rebounded off the ropes and Nash nailed a big boot to the face. Tomko got the better of Nash and continued to work him over. Styles tagged in and was caught with a sideslam. Nash tagged in Young Young ended up in Team Angle's corner Young tried to battle them off. AJ grabbed him and tossed him into the corner. Styles drilled Young with a DDT. Nash clotheslined Angle, then double clotheslined the Tag champs. Young dove on the champs outside the ring. They caught him. Joe dove out of the ring, taking them out. Nash was caught by Angle in the anklelock. Joe stood over them, then teased walking away. He superkicked Angle, then went to the corner, looking for the tag. Joe tagged in and went to work on Tomko with clotheslines. He picked up and powered Styles.

The Finish:

Joe snapped Tomko with a powerslam. Angle nailed a German suplex. Nash grabbed Angle for a powerbomb. Styles nailed Nash with a flying forearm. He went to springboard but Nash simply shoved him. Styles' neck snapped on the ropes and he took a bump to the floor. Joe caught Tomko with a muscle buster and scored the pin.
