Winners - Team TNA

Richard Reacts: In the words of Don West - I'm exhausted already. The coverage for this match sucked but the match itself was awesome. Lots of fast paced X-Division action that I love to watch. It was hard to cover with all the foreign names but a very entertaining opener.

Here's the updated World X Cup standings:

Team TNA - 6 points
Team Japan - 4 points
Team International - 2 points
Team Mexico - 2 points

Evidently they are going to build Booker T's homecoming to Houston, Texas throughout tonight's pay-per-view. The first video shows Booker giving a tour of his house in a segment that looks like MTV Cribs. Sharmell makes a cameo and kisses Booker.

Kim uses the knees to get the advantage on Love followed by a handcuffed neckbreaker to get the three count.

After the match, Velvet Sky gets in the ring and takes out Kim. It's time for the 'paper bag treatment' but Gail fights it off and goes to the outside and to the back.

We go backstage with Lauren and BG James who are with the 12 fans that are going to be part of the Fan's Revenge match. James introduces, Al, TNA's national contest winner. They exchange shots on manikins of Roode and James Storm.

Richard Reacts: Basic TNA Knockouts match. It wasn't bad but nothing spectacular or noteworthy. It looks like it was more or less done to start to build Gail Kim back up.

"Black Machismo" Jay Lethal w/ SoCal Val vs. "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt
Grudge Match

Sonjay Dutt comes out first with a card and a rose. Jay Lethal comes out next with SoCal Val. Dutt tries to give Val the card and rose but Lethal goes right on the offensive. Lethal bounces Dutt's head off the announce table and rolls Dutt back in the ring. Lethal applies a submission maneuver on Dutt in the middle of the ring. He continues to plead with Val to help him. Val gets up on the ring steps but Lethal tells her to get off. The Guru uses the hesitation to his advantage. Lethal tells Val he loves her from inside the ring. Lethal takes out Dutt in the ring. Val gets on the apron, distracts Lethal, and Dutt is able to roll him up and get the three count.

Winner - Sonjay Dutt

Richard Reacts: It looks like that Val could be turning heel with that angle but it was rather obvious throughout. In my opinion Dutt outworked Lethal which is something that doesn't happen often. Another decent match with mixed crowd reactions.

Backstage with JB and Beer Money, he talks to Roode and Storm. Roode asks JB if he wants to know what fiery is... he says it's when he loses on Wall Street or when Storm hears it's the last call for alcohol. Roode asks JB what LAX is going to do them. He tells him not to answer but what will Beer Money do to them. Roode continues a good heel promo, calling the fans at ringside marks.

Storm says that the best thing about coming to Houston, Texas is getting out as soon as the PPV is over. He mentions the Titans leaving Houston for Tennessee. Storm calls out the fans as well with the leather straps. He tells LAX that they better get ready to lose the TNA Titles.

Jacqueline says she's not going out there because the fans have leather straps. She walks off with Storm and Roode begging her to come with them.

Storm throws him to the outside but he lands on his feet. He drinks Storm's beer with the fans on the outside. Storm goes outside and gets beat by the fans. Back in the ring, it's Homicide and Storm. Storm gets sent to the outside and whipped. He gets back in the ring to be greeted by a double team by LAX. It's time for Hernandez as he gets a two count.

Hernandez makes a quick tag, Storm gets one to Roode. Nelson and Bobby go at it in the ring as Roode gets caught in the banner on the outside where he gets strapped by the fans. Roode is able to get back in the ring only to eat a couple of snap suplexes from Homicide. Another for good measure. A tag is made and now it's Storm and Homicide. Storm is in the ring as well and he takes our Hernandez before he can land anymore offense on Roode. Storm throws Roode into Hernandez but he gets a boot to the midsection. Finally Beer Money goes for a double team on Hernandez on the top rope. Hernandez throws them off like rag dolls and hits a splash for a two count on Roode. Storm breaks it up. Roode gets thrown to the fans again but back in only to eat LAX's signature double team manevuer to get pinned by Hernandez.

Winners - LAX to retain the TNA Tag Team titles

We are shown clips of Booker T's PWA wrestling academy.

Richard Reacts: Roode and Storm were booked to look like jobbers and it was a sub par match at that. I have seen much better from LAX but it felt like the match was rushed. Other than the opener, there hasn't been anything very good on this pay-per-view.

Taylor (c) vs. Awesome Kong w/ Raisha Saeed
Knockouts Women’s Championship Match

Kong comes out first with Raisha Saeed. This match is for the TNA Knockout Women's Championship. As soon as Wilde gets in the ring, Kong attacks her from behind. Kong sends Wilde hard to the mat and goes for a quick two count. Kong kicks Taylor in the back of the head and chops away at the chest of the challenger. They botched a couple of camera shots before returning to the ring with Kong with her foot over Taylor's throat. Kong locks a submission maneuver on Wilde in the middle of the ring. Winner - Taylor Wilde to retain the TNA Knockout Women's Championship

After the match Raisha Saeed beats up on Wilde, sends her back in the ring to Kong. She eats the implant buster to a pretty dead crowd. Kong goes for another but Saeed tells her to wait. She puts a chair in the ring. Kong goes for another but Abyss' music hits. Here comes the monster. Abyss enters the ring but he doesn't intimidate Kong. Saeed gets in between them. Saeed orders Abyss to go to the back. She smacks Abyss in the face. Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam on Raisha Saeed. Abyss carries Wilde to the back.

Richard Reacts: That match sucked, the booking made no sense, and when Abyss came out I couldn't help but laugh. I understand that it's too early to take the title off of Wilde but having her go over Kong clean just isn't the right move. As for Abyss coming out and saving the day - that's just about typical of TNA creative.

TNA World X Cup: Ultimate X

Here's who will be representing each team in the match: Kaz (Team TNA) vs. Naruki Doi (Team Japan) vs. Volador, Jr. (Team Mexico) vs. Daivari (Team International). The bell rings and all three workers go at it with fast paced action Kaz is the first to get on the structure but Daivari cuts him off. Daivari and Kaz exchange blows at the top of the structure. Daivari starts to climb the cable backwards. Kaz hits a leg drop from the top of the structure, sending Daivari to the mat. Outstanding spot. With everyone else incapacitated Volador Jr. gets the X down from the structure to win the match.

Winner - Volador Jr. (Team Mexico)

Mike Tenay is in the ring with Team Mexico as he gives them the World X Cup trophy. He interviews Volador Jr. through a translator. Tenay then interviews Ultimo Guerrero through the translator, asking him what it means for his country and his promotion.

Richard Reacts: Very solid match with some spectacular spots. The backwards moonsault from Volador Jr. to the outside and Kaz's legdrop from the top of the structure were outstanding. I love true X-Division action.

Frank Trigg has joined Don West and Mike Tenay at the announce table. He compares him and Kurt to finding mom and dad. That's scary.

AJ climbs the ladder in the ring but Frank Trigg gets on the apron and hits AJ over the head with the kendo stick. Angle sends Styles through the table as Hebner makes the three count.

Winners - Team 3D and Kurt Angle

Richard Reacts: Real gimmicky with interference. There were some really good spots, especially Styles flying around all over the place. Christian had an insane drop off the structure from the Ultimate X match.

During a pre-match interview between JB and Samoa Joe, the Champion told Kevin Nash to stay in the back. We cut to a shot backstage of Booker T walking to the ring. Joe leaves the ring with Sting as the crowd boos (and rightfully so) heavily. Joe waits for Sting to get to the back as he goes back to the ring and goes after Booker T. Sting pulls him off this time. Joe gives Sting the finger. Now Sting takes Joe out with his baseball bat. Sharmell makes the three count with Booker on top of Joe. She puts the TNA Championship on Booker T and they leave ringside.

Winner - Booker T, new TNA Champion?

Richard Reacts: That was the most bizarre, poorly booked, poorly executed main event that I have ever witnessed. The match didn't even have an ending. The interference from Sting was not only unnecessarily but made no sense with him and Joe being babyfaces. Booker was the babyface for one night yet he looked insignificant to Joe. I still don't understand the booking - why would they try and stop a wrestling match? It makes no sense what-so-ever and is inexcusable. I hope some of you enjoyed the pay-per-view because I feel like I just wasted $30 and 3 hours.
