01/13/09 TNA iMPACT Taping Results (Airing on 01/22/09)
Alex Shelley defeated Chris Sabin, Sheik Abdul Bashir, and Sonjay Dutt to retain X-Division title via pinfall on Sonjay Dutt. During the match, Sharmell came out and stared towards referee Shane Sewell. After the match, Sharmell confronted Sewell on the ramp and told him that Booker T wants to talk to him, she leads him backstage.

MEM (Angle, Steiner, Sting) cuts a promo in the ring. Angle vows to take revenge on Frontline members by announcing 2 matches for later (Steiner/Booker T vs. Eric Young/Petey Williams - Elimination Tag Team Match & Angle vs. AJ Styles - Tables Match). Angle says Brother Ray and Devon are not bookers around here and have no right to make matches. Sting interupts Angle, which teased some friction between the two. Jim Cornette comes out and announced the Main Event for Against All Odds will be a Fatal 4-Way Match for the TNA Heavyweight Title: Sting vs. Angle vs. Brother Ray vs. Brother Devon

ODB defeated Sojourner Bolt via DQ, Awesome Kong ran out and laid out ODB. Roxxi and Taylor Wilde eventually came to make the save.

Steiner/Booker T defeated Eric Young/Petey Williams on straight falls in an Elimination Tag match. Eric Young first eliminated via pinfall by Booker T. Petey Williams second eliminated via pinfall by Booker T. After the match, Booker T slaps referee Shane Sewell in the face and Sewell fights back only to be taken down by Steiner.
Lauren comes out to the ring and conducted an interview between Matt Morgan and Abyss. Matt Morgan apologizes for his temper and wants Abyss to still be his partner. Abyss accepts his apology and shake hands.

Beer Money defeated Morgan/Abyss in a Non-Title First Blood Match, due to Morgan turning on Abyss and hitting him with a chair causing Abyss to bleed.

Kurt Angle defeats AJ Styles in a Tables Match, when Angle puts Styles through a table via the Olympic Slam. Angle then grabs a chair and put it on his ankle, Angle stomps on it several times. Angle heads over towards Don West and Mike Teney, Angle grabs a mic, stands on their table, and says that MEM will take over TNA (exactly like the nWo)
