I was curious about these new venues and I am sure many of you are too, so I want to share this information. After researching, The Jonesboro Arena holds around 10,000 people. The American Bank Center holds between 8,000 – 10,000 people. Finally, the Gwinnett Center has a capacity of 13,000 in the arena section of the building.

The Jonesboro “Arena” aka the Arkansas State Convocation Center, has ran Raw in the past (Feb. 2002) and is a fairly cheap venue to rent as well as there is a massive wrestling fan base in the area. Unless they are talking about the fair grounds, TNA could seat up to 14000 in the ASU Convo Center.

That’s fine but I don’t think a non ppv event in America they have had over 5000 has they?

Getting out of Orlando will boost their weekly show attendance. It has for every promotion since the dawn of time. Folks want to come out and see the performers and if Dixie does it right by holding events far enough apart geographically, then the attendance will improve for the weekly shows. The key will be holding the Thursday shows far enough away from the regular house shows to make them special. The Impact Zone drained the crowd because it was the same folks week after week attending the shows.
