Like you Kendra, I am excited about Wrestlemania 28, and Impact didn’t do enough for me this week to keep my mind from it... But overall I thought it was a good show, by TNA standards anyway. You are totally right though, half an hour of interesting TV doesn’t make a good show. The talking segments, the videos need to be greatly cut back... for too long they have been overdone and what little effect they did have has now become redundant.
I guess Bobby’s logic is that he only perceives Sting as a threat while he is in charge. The It-Factor believes in his mind he is better than Sting and can best him in the ring, and the Icon was only threatening his title reign while he was booking his matches. It kinda made sense to me.

I agree with you on most points on a weekly basis- I liked the Knockouts match. Especially because I can see them getting better, and with a bit more of a push, they could skyrocket. Although Velvet’s rope bash was a bit cheesy I don’t mind when they do different things.
AA was excellent as always-about time they turned him face. But why face Bully when he could be facing AJ, Frankie Kaz and Daniels? Or RVD? Or even Joe? I don’t see why the X-Division has to be an exclusive club, especially when they are a total of about 5 wrestlers left. Last year they did Abyss vs BK, the David vs Goliath thing... I don’t see why they need to venture there again so soon.
Crimson vs Morgan is gonna be great. Took me a while to warm to Crimson but in my eyes he has established himself now...why not strap him? I don’t mean Heavyweight Champion, but why not the TV title, and let him run with it and try build a bit of respectability into that title. It’s not like they have anything to lose.
Angle is my favourite of all time, but it pains me to see him like this. I’m hating his feud with Hardy. Give Angle time off, he doesn’t need to be there at the moment.
Abyss’s segments are probably one of the most intriguing stories on TV currently..and he hasn’t even done anything yet. While I wonder how long they can keep him doing the same thing, it’s quite suspenseful and intriguing. They can do so many things with it. I don’t think we will see any progression until he confronts Bully, as he was the last person to see Abyss, so we might have to wait. That would make sense-we’ll just have to wait.
I don’t know why you even bother with writing about the double Bischoff segments. For one, they have been going for 6 months, the same thing week in, week out. No progression whatsoever- which proves your point exactly. Isn't Bischoff in charge of creative?(or something like that). Yet we haven't seen any creativity from him, no deviation at all. Either that's because he doesn't have anything left to contribute, creatively, or he is putting his personal needs in front of appearing professional (appearing, because I don't believe he is). Either way, he is ruining the show, and someone with balls needs to tell him that his son should have kept his job as a ref, because everytime he hits a move I cringe. Enough about it, ridiculous as it is, it's happening and it won't change.

That's the thing that surprises me and keeps me watching. No matter how much crap is going on behind closed doors and despite wrestlers being ignored, mistreated, and missing out on their dues, the wrestlers in TNA can still put on decent shows sometimes. Although creative is lacking and management is...well, you know... the wrestlers in the company are amazing, and with even a little direction I know they could be successful. Like you I want them to be successful and I know that they can.
