Top TNA Names With Expiring Contracts Re-Signing With TNA Wrestling Rather Than Waiting for Possible WWE Opportunities Due To Ongoing Litigation - Who They Are & How TNA Has Successfully Protected Their Roster

There continues to be a lot of frustration about the WWE hiring freeze in regards to former TNA talent due to the ongoing litigation.

One observer says there is a certain level of acceptance since there really isn't much that can be done. Some names that were resistant to signing new TNA contracts have ended up re-signing because they don't have anywhere to go. This same observer says the anti-TNA sentiment amongst talent has also started to subside and morale has improved in recent weeks.

Velvet Sky was one name in particular that had hoped for a run in WWE but she finally gave up and re-signed with TNA. Others are starting to realize there is no way of knowing how long the lawsuit will remain ongoing and it isn't worth the risk of being on the sidelines indefinitely.

This ties into the report we ran here on Premium regarding TNA Champion Jeff Hardy.

The people who really do have a shot in WWE are going to get upset, no matter what is being said. If you were working in ANY field and knew you had a shot at making a bunch of money with a competitor, but you had no choice but to take less money because they were in a pissing contest, it would piss you off too.

The lawsuit is bullshit. After a contract expires, no employee should have any say in what their former employee chooses to do.

I agree this lawsuit is stupid and it is keeping Wrestlers from going to WWE if they have a chance…….to hell with TNA.. they are doing no good keeping you from going to WWE. all this BS because a office worker thought he would be smart giving private info to WWe…. and who says they don't have anywhere to go? they could go to Japan or Europe ,ROH or just do random indy bookings… TNA is being selfish.

IF It was me I'd be pissed off to and would refuse to go back to TNA.

TNA needs to face facts. They are hardly drawing a buck, ratings are still abysmal, and the only thing with any hint of success is their show in India. At this point, they can't even be remotely named in the same sentence as WCW. At this point, the only way I can see them even remotely being mentioned as juniors to WWE is that they get the hell out of Florida. As for this bulls**t lawsuit, the only people they're screwing are the ones that might have had a legit shot at money. You can only hang onto guys like Styles and Daniels for so long, especially since these two are hardly young bucks. And don't even get me started on the actual Young Bucks…
