so i guess if it were a regular ladder match, where ladders and other weapons can be used, a sledge hammer would NOT be legal? sweet stipulation…

Did WWE hire back Vince Russo? It’s basically one of his object on a pole matches featuring a couple of older wrestlers lol

  • Owen

This is not a Ladder Match. This is basically a rehashed "Object on a Pole" Match.

Pretty senseless..I'm optimistic that with Kevin Nash looking like he's in better shape than ever lately, the match might just be an entertaining slugfest. Other than that this stipulation is plain stupid. I'd prefer a tables match. Put Ziggler/Ryder in a ladder match ffs -.-

This is reminiscent to the Scott Hall Vs Goldberg Taser Ladder Match, or Pinatas on a Pole match

"The first to reach it can use it until a winner is determined."

How exactly is a winner going to be determined? Obviously not via disqualification or count-out, but once the sledgehammer is retrieved, does the match continue until there's a pinfall or submission? Is it a case of the match continuing at the referee's discretion? I really cannot abide convoluted booking scenarios…
