Update On Bully Ray’s Future In TNA Wrestling

Please note: I’m out of the office for the rest of the week on paternity leave, however, I will do my best to pop in and out over the next couple of days. Thank you for your support and understanding as I tend to my family.

It was reported on Sunday that Bully Ray told talent at Sunday’s TNA live event in Hagerstown, Maryland that he doesn’t expect to be back for the company.

From what I heard, the speech was not necessarily Bully Ray “saying goodbye” as much as it was him letting his co-workers know if he isn’t seen there again. In other words, a precautionary speech if he ends up not agreeing on a contract extension with TNA Wrestling and not exactly a “farewell.” As I mentioned on Sunday, Bully Ray was believed to be exiting the company two years ago but ended up re-signing and having the best singles run of his career.

Without Bully TNA’s value to networks will be greatly reduced.

You are greatly overrating Bully Ray, he’s an obese middle aged man who has never been particularly skilled in the ring and has only ever been decent on the mic. There are plenty of people working for TNA or on the indies that could be snatched up to replace him immediately. The only reason it’s an issue is because TNA has foolishly built their unstable brand around him instead of diversifying.

Obese?! Go look at the old ECW “Bubba Ray Dudley” then come back and look at Bully Ray..

Didn’t read anything after that, honestly.
