I can now confirm there are plans for Booker T to return to the ring and the preliminary plan is to program him with Cody Rhodes. Advance advertising information for the December 30th Smackdown house show in East Rutherford, New Jersey includes the following matches:

* Big Show vs. Mark Henry in a Steel Cage match
* Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton in a Street Fight
* Booker T vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
* Christian vs. Sheamus
* Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara
* Jinder Mahal vs. Ezekiel Jackson
* Brodus Clay vs. Ted DiBiase
* Tamina & Rosa Mendes vs. AJ & Kaitlyn
