Update On John Cena’s Future In WWE

John Cena is currently not scheduled for any WWE shows prior to Hell in a Cell on Sunday, October 27, 2013. The company is heavily promoting his return with the video package that aired on this week’s Monday Night Raw, as it will air on this week’s episode of WWE Main Event and Smackdown.

Cena is advertised for Raw the night after Hell in a Cell on October 28, 2013 in Orlando, Florida.

Based on the attendance at WWE shows last weekend and television tapings this week, the company will be very happy to get him back.

Love the dedication, love the passion. Way to go Cena! Character aside, the guy does so much good for so many fans. He doesn’t have to be perfect — certainly Hogan had far more personal failings. But at least Cena keeps finding new ways to make a difference. Cena will keep WWE strong until a new face emerges (hopefully soon, just to give everyone a fresh outlook).

Not for nothing but these tickets are sold months in advance, odds are these tickets went on sale before Cena was even injured. I think attendance would’ve stunk regardless of whether or not Cena was there.
