There was some chatter at this week’s WWE television tapings that more live Smackdown specials on SyFy are planned for early next year to build towards Wrestlemania XXVIII.
Both parties have been happy with the ratings and people are already beginning to speculate this could mean a permanent move. As of this writing, the only thing I can confirm is WWE wants to do more live Tuesday night specials but no definitive plan has been put in place to change the Friday night timeslot.
