Below is the updated “special event” listing for WWE following next month’s Extreme Rules on May 4, 2014. Please note they are no longer called pay-per-views but special events because of the evolution of the WWE Network:

  • Money in the Bank on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from TD Garden in Boston, MA
  • Battleground on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, FL
  • SummerSlam on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
  • Night of Champions on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN
  • Hell in a Cell on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX
  • Survivor Series on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO
  • TLC on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH

    I still don’t understand why they have theme ppvs like TLC or HIAC. It’s much more effective storytelling when an angle organically evolves to needing one of those types of matches insteaf of just forcing them on whatever happens that month.

      Agreed – they have completely killed the drama of a Hell in a Cell match to me. The first few were such a big deal because they never happened all that often

      ya they can just have these matches on each card randomly every year. but i guess it affects the buy rates since matches are not booked until a week or 2 before the event

          wwe hasn’t completely moved to network so they kinda do. once it does it wont matter but also as i said with the lack of build its gonna be a lame gimmick match. atleast here we know what the main event is gonna be
