Vickie Guerrero Working With Ryback?, Replacing Kane In MITB Ladder Match

Vickie Guerrero Working with Ryback?

With the backstage segment of Ryback approaching Vickie Guerrero and “hugging” her after her “firing” on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, speculation has been rampant regarding a future alliance. WWE booked themselves into a corner with Ryback as many feel the mistakes regarding the character have played out on television. Ryback was inserted into WWE title matches before he was ready and  WWE has felt the consequences over the last several months. Many in the company feel a potential pairing with Vickie would provide Ryback with a viable mouthpiece and get him over as a dominant heel.

Replacing Kane in MITB Ladder Match

The general belief with Kane being labeled “doubtful” for the WWE Championship Money in the Bank ladder match at the pay-per-view on Sunday, is that he will be replaced. While the favorite is Bray Wyatt, there is also a return not being mentioned. Big Show is slated to return from injury at the middle of this month and this could provide an opportunity to bring him back. With that being said, I do not know the creative plans regarding Kane and Money in the Bank but felt both Wyatt and Show as potential replacements were worth mentioning.

Since they’re billing it as an “all-star” match, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for Bray Wyatt to debut there. Big Show would be a much better addition. I guess we’ll see how it plays out! Money In The Bank is one of my top PPVs, always hyped for it!

Brock would be much better option

      • Xavier

I’d love too see Brock replace Kane as well, would add a very interesting dynamic to the match. Doubt it happens though unfortunately

      • Loren Goldstein

Not a face and they wouldn’t waste one of his appearances not being promoted for a paid event. WWE could get more sells if people knew that Brock was going to be there. Vince wouldn’t pass up that opportunity.

The only problem with Big Show is that currently, all the participants are “Faces”, which he has not been for quite a while.

      • Batman

Why is that a problem? Bray Wyatt isn’t a face either.

        • Loren Goldstein

Exactly, and he’s not an All-star. I don’t think either is a good choice. Who else is available that is both a “face” and an “all-star”? There aren’t too many unless they plan on having someone work two matches.

What was Matt Morgan prior to leaving TNA?

          • Loren Goldstein

I’m not sure, I don’t watch TNA. Besides, we all know how Vince feels about TNA guys, he doesn’t look at them as all-stars either.

          • Batman

You’re missing the point. Who said they had to be faces? All-star has been mentioned by Stephanie, but no one mentioned it has to all be good guys.

Big Show would fit as an All-star.

          • Loren Goldstein

He would fit as an All-star, I agree. And you’re right, no one has specified faces, although I don’t think that the whole face v heel has ever been explicitly stated in programming either.

I just don’t see them throwing a guy like Big Show in there. The only person that I could see getting in would be Mysterio, but thery’re still calling for a SS return.

Who says anyone has to replace Kane though? The remaining six could still put on a good show.

    • Xavier

      Completely agree

    • Smart Mark

I have to disagree, putting Bray Wyatt in this match would to soon. They guy just came onto the main roster and already gets a shot at the MITB match for the most prestigious title? If anyone should replace Kane (asides from Y2J) then it should be a returning Rey Mysterio.

I actually think a Ryback/Vickie pairing would be pretty funny and could actually get over. Kind of like a comedic heel wrestler/heel manager duo, when’s the last time that’s been done? On paper it looks like a odd/random pairing but sometimes things that look bad on paper end up getting over huge i.e Booker T/Goldust, Santino/Beth Phoenix, Kane/Bryan, Edge/Vickie etc etc
