Wade Barrett had shoulder surgery on Tuesday, WWE has confirmed.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Jeff Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama. The following quote is from an article published Wednesday on dot com:
“Bad News Barrett underwent a ligament reconstruction in his shoulder, as well as a distal clavicle resection, where the end of the collar bone is shaved off,” WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann said. “The operation went very well, he’s resting comfortably.”
A timetable was not reported for his return, however, it was announced on Raw that he'll be out a "number of months."
