Wade Barrett Has Shoulder Surgery, No Timetable For Return

Wade Barrett had shoulder surgery on Tuesday, WWE has confirmed.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Jeff Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama. The following quote is from an article published Wednesday on dot com:

“Bad News Barrett underwent a ligament reconstruction in his shoulder, as well as a distal clavicle resection, where the end of the collar bone is shaved off,” WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann said. “The operation went very well, he’s resting comfortably.”

A timetable was not reported for his return, however, it was announced on Raw that he’ll be out a “number of months.”

Barrett was injured last Tuesday in Pittsburgh, PA, while working Jack Swagger in a match taped for Smackdown. As a result of the injury he was pulled from last Sunday’s Money in the Bank ladder match and stripped of the Intercontinental Championship.

Hope he has a speedy recovers, Sounds painful.

I Don’t think this is all bad, with his gimmick, he could quite possibly stay on TV, keeping himself relevant until he is ready to return. He could surprise attack someone to come straight back into a feud

I hope he gets better. I really liked the bad news gimmick. Not to be confused with the king of the ghetto blaster, bad news brown.
