Watch Segment To Strip Daniel Bryan Of Title, Concern For His Health

For those that missed the opening segment of this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Daniel Bryan was officially stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The news broke on Monday afternoon that Bryan had been downgraded and would be unable to compete at Money in the Bank later this month.

The announcement is not surprising as the feeling within WWE was that if Bryan worked Money in the Bank, he would have done so by rushing back. There remains no timetable for his return to the ring and the company is preparing to be without him until SummerSlam.

Bryan's recovery is a tricky situation and a situation that reminds too many of what ended Edge's career a few years ago.

Steph, people are getting sick and tired of the whole B+ thing, if WWE wants him as the face of the company then they need to stop referring to him as B+

Yup that whole adage of ‘keep telling people that and eventually they will believe you’ rings very true in pro-wrestling. Kinda reminds me of ‘Boring’ Lance Storm…

All the best to Bryan, as there is no such thing as a “minor”or “small” injury, where neck/nerves/spine are involved. All being well: When(!) he comes back (barring any backstage politics derailing him), his return is going to be immense.

I feel so bad for Daniel Bryan being stripped of the championship but get well soon and get the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back. Yes! Yes! Yes!
