Impact Wrestling posted footage of Rampage Jackson's debut from this week at this link. You can also watch embedded in the video below:
I gotto say, going in I thought this segment was gonna be really entertaining because Rampage has that reputation of being wild and charismatic but sadly it didn’t go down that way! He seemed really out of place, stumbled on his words a lot and I can’t believe I’m gonna say this but he seemed nervous! His confrontation with Angle wasn’t any better, although Angle sort of saved that segment from being a total flop, it just wasn’t a great segment.
Every media outlet covered it? Not hardly. What a totally nothing segment. Angle didn’t do much of note either. Nevermind Jackson’s awkwardness. Angle went down to the ring, did pseudo-angryman-would-you-mind-please-getting-out-of-my-house-you-miserable-outsider promo, did some odd staring thing with Jackson, and left. How completely unoriginal. How completely done to death. Nice, TNA…real nice.
I watch TNA and I have exactly zero memory of this segment whatsoever.
That’s because your a dumbass suffering from memory lost
I love all the wrestling fanboys criticising the segment just because Rampage isn’t a “wrestling guy”. I know a lot of people who are MMA fans that turned on Impact just to watch the Rampage segment.. That was the whole point!
Nobody would have turned on TNA to watch RVD or John Morrison if they were the new signing.
